We pay people to do that for us, because we're not poor. We'll be in Vegas for the weekend. Somehow agreed to take my wife to Vegas for our anniversary. Offered Napa, Aspen, Hawaii...she picked Vegas.

I really hate Napa -- I'm not much of a wine drinker, and it's all just pretentious as hell. Plus, the one resort I really liked up there burned down a few years back. I really was hoping for Hawaii.

sounds like a swinging good time

vikas: "Hey honey, where do you wanna go for our anniversary?'

wife: "Oooh, I bet Hawaii is absolutely gorgeous this time of year, and sitting on a secluded beach with drinks in hand watching the waves roll in for hours sounds super relaxing and chill, but ya know what? Let's just make it easy and do Vegas instead where we can rub shoulders with dirty, fat, gambling-addicted peasants looking for a cheap thrill."

The study by the international scientist group Earth Commission published in Wednesday’s journal Nature looks at climate, air pollution, phosphorus and nitrogen contamination of water from fertilizer overuse, groundwater supplies, fresh surface water, the unbuilt natural environment and the overall natural and human-built environment. Only air pollution wasn’t quite at the danger point globally.

The study found "hotspots” of problem areas throughout Eastern Europe, South Asia, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, parts of Africa and much of Brazil, Mexico, China and some of the U.S. West — much of it from climate change.

That’s not climate change, it’s negligent forest management caused by insane leftist policies.

please tell me how "negligent forest management" by "insane leftist policies" caused Canadian forest fires started by brief lightning storms after drought and low humidity left forests dry and tinder-ready.

I would love to hear this.

Maybe they need to sweep the leaves up?

Maybe you should educate yourself on where these fires in Canada are. Or don't, and mindlessly blame "leftist policies" instead. Whatever.

FWIW the largest fire is near a "shore" town of 28k people.

but please, keep telling me how politics contributed to these fires, which historically would be called an "Act of God" but now is apparently just an extension of "failed liberal policies"

Depends on what side your on I guess, leftists say it's due to climate change caused by humans and righties call it failed liberal policies.  Have to take advantage of these opportunities whenever possible.
