Posted September 1, 20213 yr Both Les Bowen and Paul Domowich have been asking questions at Eagles press conferences. It's good to see they're not gone. Anyone know who they are working/writing for now?

No, they took the buyout this summer. https://awfulannouncing.com/newspapers/philadelphia-inquirer-beat-writer-les-bowen-retires-after-38-years-in-philadelphia-journalism.html Not sure how they still get credentialed for the Zoom news conferences but the only writing I see from either is on social media.

They probably never turned the zoom off. Like when you get free porn you never change the channel 😂

Well I was answering the other guy cause he said they were asking questions at a conference. So I'm half right they Les said he is leaving before the season begins and it technically hasn't yet if he meant the actual regular season. I did get thrown off by him saying they are still paying him to sit at home so I thought that meant head going to still write this year at home. Paul did say he was staying till sometime past September 1st. Either way don't care I was just trying to answer the guys question.

In today's world, there are so many online publication options available - that combined with the decline of the Inquirer leads me to believe that they will land on their feet somewhere.
September 5, 20213 yr No link, but a nice article from Domo in todays Philly Inq. Can't believe he is 67 years old! Looks much younger.
September 10, 20213 yr Editors at Inquirer: Let's force out the old experienced guys and bring in young, inexperienced writers including a writer from out of the city but make sure Jeff McLane stays. Great way to ensure quality control. The Inquirer is dead.
