Landon Dickerson among Eagles players to receive new numbers following final cuts

Landon Dickerson wore No. 51 throughout his first offseason with the Eagles, but now he has the number he sported during his college career.

Dickerson, the team’s second-round pick, has been gifted the No. 69 jersey following the departure of veteran lineman Matt Pryor, who was traded to the Indianapolis Colts on Tuesday. Dickerson, known for his quirky personality, has become a fan-favorite despite being sidelined for the entire summer on the Non-Football Injury list.

Fans on Twitter were excited to see Dickerson get his college number back following the announcement of the swap on Thursday night.

Dickerson wasn’t the only player to get a new uniform following training camp and the preseason. Here are some other jersey swaps on the 53-man roster and practice squad:

 

- TE Jack Stoll switched from No. 47 to No. 89.

 

- DT Marlon Tuipulotu switched from No. 72 to No. 95.

 

- CB Josiah Scott (IR) switched from No. 46 to No. 33.

 

- OT Le’Raven Clark (practice squad) switched from No. 61 to No. 74.

 

- DE Matt Leo (practice squad) switched from No. 64 to No. 66.

 

Here are the numbers that the new additions to the roster and practice squad will wear:

 

- QB Gardner Minshew will wear No. 10.

 

- CB/S Andre Chachere will wear No. 21.

 

- WR KeeSean Johnson (practice squad) will wear No. 17.

 

- TE Nick Eubanks (practice squad) will wear No. 85.

Love that he is getting Runyan's old number.  I have a feeling he is going to play with the same nasty demeanor Jon always did.
