OK here goes then... A completely pointless first prediction of wins and losses.

@ Redskins - Win, just.

Vs Rams - Win.

Vs Bengals - Win

@ Niners - Loss.

@ Steelers - Win.

Vs Ravens - Loss.

Vs Giants- Win.

Vs Cowboys - Loss.

@ Giants - Loss.

@ Browns - Win.

Vs Seahawks - Loss.

@ Packers - Win.

Vs Saints - Loss.

@ Cardinals - Win.

@ Cowboys - Loss.

Vs Redskins - Win.

9-7 then after a good start. We could absolutely sweep the Giants though. We could also split with Dallas.

Intraconference matchups are a combination of rotational ones in which we play every team from another division every three years by alternating home/away, and then there are two other intraconference opponents decided by the previous years' standings. This year, we pay GB away and NO at home because we both finished first in our respective divisions last year. We also played in NO last time we went there, so I guess it's gotta be one or the other either way. Although, NO was two years ago. I haven't been able to find a rule for this unusual scenario, so I do wonder how it's determined.

You’ve pretty much got it. It’s all based on a rotation, including the location of your common finishing opponents.

For instance, if we play the NFCN in a given year after winning the division, then of course that same year we’d play home against the NFCS winner and on the road against the NFCW winner, (or vice versa). Then three years later, when we play the NFCN teams again, the locations of those games would switch, but so too would the locations of the common finishers, (@NFCS common finisher, home against the NFCW common finisher).

9-7 feels low.....I'm going 10-6 and not going game by game.  That being said, can be worse than 10-6 if the injury bug continues to rear its ugly head and can be better than 10-6 if things go well.  So basically, I have no clue where they are going to end up lol

So you would’ve nailed half the schedule if there wasn’t a pandemic?

No guarantees regardless.

Kyle Brandt says everyone predicts 10-6 for their teams no matter how badly their team has done in the off season with FA and draft picks. I think it's mostly true as well though I think it's more likely 9-7.

There has been talk that because a considerable number of schools may be unable to have college football this fall, the NFL would move some games from Sunday to Saturday to fill that void.  With that in mind, there are some games slated in particular for singleheader slots on Sundays that normally would not make sense, but I think the NFL is exploring the possibility of actually having Saturday games, possibly at 1:00, 4:30 and 8:15 PM this fall most likely between CBS, FOX and NFL Network (most likely if every week, NFL Network at 1:00 with CBS and FOX alternating the two late slots) with some exceptions when FOX has MLB Playoff games in most likely November.

These are the Eagles games that to me are most likely candidates to be moved to Saturday afternoon or night depending on importance:

Week 2 vs Rams on FOX, moving from Sunday 9/20 at 1:00 PM to Saturday 9/19 at 8:15 PM, still on FOX

Week 3 vs. Bengals on CBS, moving from Sunday 9/27 at 1:00 PM to Saturday 9/26 at 1:00 PM and to NFL Network (FOX locally).

Week 6 vs. Ravens on CBS, moving from Sunday 10/18 at 1:00 PM to Saturday 10/17 at 8:15 PM, still on CBS

Week 11 at Browns on FOX, moving from Sunday 11/22 at 1:00 PM to Saturday 11/21 at 1:00 or 4:30 PM, still on FOX

While this may not happen, this I believe was baked into the NFL schedule in case there is no college football this fall.

Noting this again because this may wind up being revisited:

With a number of schools reporting a lot of players with COVID-19, there is again an increasing possibility there will be no college football this fall and in fact, a handful of Division II and III schools having already canceled sports for this fall.  If that happens and the NFL does start on time, I suspect the NFL will go ahead and go to having up to three games on Saturdays as noted, the one notable difference now being that we now know the MLB playoffs will be in October.

And noting this another time because it's actually looking like the college football season is at least going to be entirely postponed to the spring of 2021 if not cancelled entirely.
