This is the most he has impressed me. He look different from last year. Just looking at how he directed players was impressive.

Yeah, that's my experience so far too, and I wasn't sure if it was the board or on my side since my access can be a little slow at times when I'm using my VPN.

I didn't mind Gainwell being out there a lot. He was doing well. I was just surprised by it. Being able to depend on Sanders and Gainwell for extended drives is great

I was pleasantly surprised by Gainwell’s blocking a couple times. It’s possible that the coaching staff likes him better picking up blitzes than Sanders.

Exactly.... that was 1 knock on Doug.. something would be off the charts in the 1st half.. and then.. for whatever reason.. he'd abandon it for the sake of "appearing balanced". Forget "balance" when something is working. If the opponent can't stop it... keep doing it.

I like Gainwell a lot, from what I have seen of him. Sure hands, good blocks, powerful running.

That two minute drive was beautiful. 

First half thoughts: Hurts looks fantastic and the offense is clicking...the run game could be a little better but overall I am satisfied with how this game is going....honestly, the defense looks like it sucks again as the ghost of Gym Shorts seems to be here.....

A tiny bit slow, but nothing crazy. Usually when something good or bad happens on the field 🤣

I'd add a well coached game for the rookie HC so far too. 

Hurts looks super comfortable back there.
