Posted September 10, 20214 yr Product inflation, a key economic indicator, hit a record level in August - 0.7% for the month. A $3.5 T "stimulus" package filled with pork is the last thing this economy needs. Re-open the Keystone Pipeline, work on getting the supply chains unbroken. If you think Afghanistan was a boondoggle (unless of course you were conveniently distracted by the National Socialistish speech yesterday on vaccine mandates no doubt timed to distract from the Afghanistan fiasco), you ain't seen nothin' yet. And still, the feeble minded will continue to bend over, lube and fellate this demented moron. https://www.cnbc.com/2021/09/10/august-wholesale-prices-rise-8point3percent-on-an-annual-basis-biggest-advance-on-record.html

September 10, 20214 yr And the Biden bully rescue team has arrived in record time to try to bully and harass another poster, who dare point out another Biden failure, into submission.

We're already notifying our customers of the next price increase that's going to hit 1st of next year.
September 10, 20214 yr You mean years of increased deficit spending and printing money results in inflation? Get out of town, I don’t believe you!

They'll just deflect with a stupid remark and continue to bury their heads in the sand when they're not fellating the Big Guy

September 10, 20214 yr It's so cute that people think inflation just became a problem. Newsflash -- it's been a problem since the Greenspan days of the 1990s. It was covered up by labor deflation due to outsourcing for a while. But the one thing the left and right agree on is printing more money to spend on stupidity.

It didn't JUST become a problem - although there have been ebbs and flows. It is becoming a SERIOUS problem now. Why don't you explain, for example, the benefits of shutting down the Keystone Pipeline.

Of course that has virtually no impact on inflation. Arguably it might shrink the WTI/Brent spread, but given the fact that the oil will likely still go out via Canadian ports, it really just costs American jobs for ridiculous reasons. Any other ridiculous assumptions you want to make?

This more about artificial demand caused by government propping up preferred industries. Biden arbitrarily picked his winners, who are suddenly gobbling up resources with government money, while everyone else, who had spent decades shoring up their supply base, are now fighting for the leftovers.

Now replace Biden with Bush and make it about the housing industry. Or Biden with Obama and make it green technology. Or Biden with Trump and make it farmers. Politicians spending money they don't have to buy votes and make sure no economic pain is felt is the only true bipartisan effort in Washington. The numbers keep getting bigger no matter who is in charge.

Another big driver in this inflation is shortages being cause by a lack of workers, which is being caused by the government paying lower level workers not to work. That's what's so ironic about this, is that Biden is shooting himself in the foot to force through their radical left wing agenda.
