It's a fun stat but it is also meaningless ... it is such a small sample size (5 games) ... can't make any projections of what his career may become based off of that.

I’ve been telling people this since the end of last season, but some people don’t seem to get it. It’s way too early to predict what Hurts is good or bad. All we know is the guy works hard to improve himself and that’s more than we can say about some current, former, and soon to be former Philadelphia athletes.

Absolutely. On his first start he played well and the team won. On his second he played very well but the team lost. Then on his third he flashed and his fourth well that whole game was a mess. 5 games isn't enough to determine how good or bad he's going to be. I mean after a few games we all thought Wentz was going to be here for his entire career and was the next Brady.

Carson Wentz had 6 more passing yards than Jalen Hurts after his first 5 starts, just saying.

Well in that case, I'm encouraged ;-).

Look how crazy people went over Fulgham just after a few games, people need to relax and let it all play out.

It’s interesting he posted that stat. After 5 games he and many others just knew Carson was the greatest thing since sliced bread, but after 5 games Hurts is the worst quarterback in the world??? All that separates them passing wise is 6 yards though. 🙄
