Apparently you get 5 seconds after the clock hits 0 to snap the ball.

Apparently so. Well if you're the Niners that is.

The 9ers hung a 40 burger last week, our D held them to under 20. That's amazing.

Blame the O and the HC

They gone with like 5 minutes left.

so pointless

Sure they do. They got manhandled on the LOS.

The defense played well enough for us to win.

Our poor offense caused our defense to wear down.  Nick's playcalling in goal line made me think that Doug had hacked into the headset.

The niners were literally just in the super bowl 2 years ago with almost the same team. They had a sheet load of injuries last year and had Nick Mullens as their QB. You don't accidentally go to super bowls.

Today they barely won with the Eagles doing countless stupid crap. And the refs on their side.   I don't think they'll even make the playoffs this year.  Seriously

He did have two perfect bombs today but ok

His deep ball seems to be good.  It's the intermediate, medium throws he struggles with.

D played great.

O was awful, Hurts' limitations were in full display, O line was over matched, and Siri was exposed.

Gonna be a long season

I'm not sure that Siri was exposed. I only say that cause we don't know how much of hai play calling is limited because of Hurts arm and being able to call more plays to the whole field and not just to.the right side.

well that certainly sucked

Jalen Hurts blows. Doesn't play a peewee team and he's pedestrian at best against a beat up secondary. If he had any arm strength we might have had a few TDs on the board.

I'll allow it LOL

Since it's actually possible, maybe we agree to just one sleeve?

Guess I'll have meatloaf instead.

The positives I take... They played a pretty good team. They were against the officials, left points on the field and still only lost by 6. I'll take that in a rebuild year.

I usually don't settle for "moral victories"- but I didn't expect this year's team to be this tough. I am concerned about Hurtz's inability to throw deep right now, and a few other things. Overall, I thought this year's team would flat out suck, but they don't.... yet. There is hope, and that's all i could ask for this year.

I know one thing the Philly special should be retired, it was once in a lifetime play. Should of QB sneeked like the did in 4th qtr.

Absolutely BS!!! Shouldn't have came down to it, but still!!

The more things change the more they stay the same.

Hurts wasn’t exactly inspiring in this game but not really bad either.

I really hope he keeps improving because what I fear is he’s too good for us to be top-5 pick contention but not good enough as a passer to consistently win

As sheety as we played and coached we were still in this vs what’s considered a good team in what is supposed to be a sheety year for us.

Mia losing 35-0 and Tua is hurt. Might be a top 3 pick.

Can see Howie going all in for Watson

Sad outcome.

Shanahan encountered a stout Eagles defense and made adjustments, Sirianni encounter a stout 49ers defense and he didn't.

Sirianni should have began throwing to the backs and TE's but he kept tying to run and throw long.

Also, Hurts seems to be developing tunnel vision with Smith, he needs to understand that's not going to work.

And a lot of underthrown balls too. He didn't play bad, but you can't say he has great arm strength. His decision making is really good. It's on the coach now to see that and do what he said at his press conference this week by adjusting the play call to his players.

Don’t understand the two time outs with 5+ left on clock and not trying onside kick.  I know odds are against recovering, but Niners we’re rolling over defense in last quarter.

Exactly and that's where I'm looking at the positives. We expected them to lose today we just got given hope after last weeks win. What worries me is where the next win is going to come from because now it is a long tough stretch.

These coaches we bring in NEED to be less cute on offense…stop running trick plays…stop running rpo’s on every play…spread the defense with our speedy receivers and be done with it…take points when we can get them and be more responsible on 4th down calls…on to the Monday night game in Dallas…hopefully we get our crap together cause their offense is gonna smoke us
