time2rock
Eagles' Brandon Brooks out about 8 weeks after suffering torn pectoral muscle vs. 49ers, per report The three-time Pro Bowler leaves a void on the offensive front By Patrik Walker 1 hr ago1 min read Andy Lewis/Icon Sportswire via Getty Images The Philadelphia Eagles needed their key players to contribute against San Francisco 49ers, but unfortunately for the Eagles, it didn't happen. Defensive end Brandon Graham was carted off of the field late in the second quarter with a season-ending torn Achilles, and the offensive front took a major hit as well. The Eagles began the second half without starting right guard Brandon Brooks, who also suffered a major injury. While his isn't season-ending, he'll miss significant time going forward. Brooks suffered a torn pectoral muscle and will miss about eight weeks, Eagles right tackle Lane Johnson said Thursday. This puts his potential return around Week 11 when Philadelphia takes on the New Orleans Saints on Nov. 21 -- assuming there are no setbacks in his recovery. Brooks, a three-time Pro Bowler at his position, leaves quite a void on the offensive front. The Eagles are hoping rookie second-round pick Landon Dickerson can step in and step up in only his second-career NFL game, but he'll have his work cut out for him in Dallas and over the following seven weeks to come. https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/eagles-brandon-brooks-out-about-8-weeks-after-suffering-torn-pectoral-muscle-vs-49ers-per-report/?fbclid=IwAR2JpSo0oW5KNqDBk0yDrDNSkKze86s3AjIw5uJhpn7yMS-PX5rMMZyEBKw
Procus
Well that sucks. Initial talk was closer to 3 weeks. Still, good news that it's not a season ending injury. All other things being equal, I'd have no problem putting Nate Herbig in there, at least for the next week or two, until at least Dickerson gets his sea legs. No harm in letting that young man heal up either.

Miami
Not again. This guy has to go if he keeps getting hurt. No use to us in the training room.
UK_EaglesFan89
8 weeks... Yikes. So we are one interior OL injury away from a pretty desperate position again. Not ideal given the concerns over Dickerson's injury record.
