Watching this game people really think Hurts in the biggest issue on this team?  They have so many holes and look at who was starting on Oline today due to injury.

Hurts is playing like a rookie. As expected and i dont think hes playing that bad. This D is next level trash.

I'm glad we at least scored after Reid gave us the finger on that last drive of theirs.

Offense made mistakes but this was mostly on Defense.   You can't give up two back to back 40 burgers.  Plus we left some points out there too.

The last 2 weeks he missed open receivers due to "timing" issues or not simply throwing them open. This week he missed 2 wide open TDs that cost us at least 8 points settling for redzone fgs.

That miss to Ertz early on the game was brutal. Ertz had three yards on the defender.

Hurts is good. I don't know that he'll be great. Who's great anyway. Hard to tell whether the team is not as fun to watch as it used to be, or whether the camera work's not as good

Jets won, woohoo!!!

I think Reid is pissed because he was in the hospital and maybe isn't allowed to get a cheese steak while he is in Philly.

It's no secret we've always needed help on defense. We definitely have assets. Potentially 3 high 1st rounders or 2 high 1st and a middle 2nd.  Get Watson and this team will be in the SB next year. We can't go into next year with Hurts having to take another duce that just won't flush and stay down. He has diarrhea or something.

There is no way this team goes to the bowl with Watson. You don’t have any assets if you trade for Watson and this team is a year older. The Texans had Hopkins, Watson, Clowney, Watt, and never came close to a bowl.

I'd still like to see us run the ball (with called runs to our RBs) at least 2x more then we currently are. Maybe even 3x more.

It’s only a matter of time before these players start chirping about this coach.

Gatorade bath for Jets Coach lmao

Why would anyone bring up Hurts after this loss ?  Give this dude some credit he played great IMO and moved like a cheetah in the pocket.

The missing O-line players equaling  penalties by Dillard most likely, the BS penalty  by A.Whiteside which it looked like he was getting jammed and just fighting back, the Ertz drop right before that for A TD ......  the two plays to DSmith...one where he went out of bounds that was A TD and the one where Hurts threw it deep and DSmith stopped early and took the blame.

The Defense did make some key stops and kept it close when needed.

I can keep going but lets talk about the two bad passes lol smh yah killing me

Yep, defense was trash. Offense moved the ball but failed to execute in key moments - mostly due to penalties and Hurts missing a couple of throws which took points off.

Hurts only had a few missed throws this game which is an improvement, the killer was just which of the throws he missed - two big ones which should have been TDs. Outside of that he was pretty good today - lets hope he keeps this up

This is why I want Hurts to work for us. Drafting a QB or trading all our draft capital away isn't going to help this team.

We need to go BALLS DEEP in the 2022 draft....LB, CB, then Safety

Also I think the coaches called a good game on Offense and kept the ball away from the weak Oline....not many runs up the middle etc.

Yeah if you really look at it, Hurts and the O did match them point for point. No punts.  But too many mistakes and called back TD's.   But our Defense has to play better.  I know losing Brandon has hurt but they have to pull it together.  We went from giving up the least points to the most.

Jalen Hurts accounted for 434 yards of offense. I mean this is insanity. The Eagles had one starting offensive lineman and they didn’t even try to establish a run game. How does any coach think it’s a good idea to pass 48 times with a quarterback not known as a passer? I’ll state that this team really seems like they are putting way too much on Hurts. This is either to truly evaluate him or they’re just too foolish to see this kid needs help.

We don't run the ball. The RPO and PA don't work when they don't think you'll actually b run it.

We all should want that . Him being the answer is the best and quickest way for us to improve.

My fear is he is a middle of the road QB i.e. good enough to be an average NFL started but not good enough to consistently win / carry the team which means we get stuck in a world of odd playoffs appearances while never being a true contender but also too good to ever have a high pick to draft a top prospect QB

I’m concerned the guy making the picks will do a poor job, but it all seems to be lining up quite well to have three pretty high level firsts.

I think that is part of it. They want a clear answer one way or another on Hurts by the end of the year given the plethora of picks we have next year. They like him but aren't sold on him.

Having said, the lack of called runs two weeks in a row is silly to put it nicely

I don’t know what Hurts is yet, but regardless the Eagles aren’t going to win throwing the ball 48 times.

It’s almost like they’re sabotaging themselves to find out what Hurts really is and to lose.  The defense isn’t really trying to stop anyone and the offense is pretty much ignoring it’s best player in Sanders.

The rule is if you are forced out and reastablish it's a good catch. Check and check.

Sure. Both were called back as penalties. Therefore they need more awareness to not be able to be forced out. Checkmate.

Hey that’s a win for us too! We need the bottom feeders to keep winning!

That's why I believe sometimes I am looking at AR all over again. He did it on a consistent basis with McNabb....
