Posted October 2, 20213 yr S'up Guys, I've been a fan of the game for something like 20 odd years from here in Limeyland, but there's one thing I've never been able to get my head around... How come so many college games end in a high scoring blowout? I'm sat watching Ole Mis and Bama and so far it's a 35-7 blowout. I was watching a coupe of games last week, and same thing. Ole Miss are 3-0 and Bama 4-0 so on the face of it you'd think it would be a bit closer. I get when it's a smaller college going up against one of the bigger programmes, but it seems to me it's pretty common for the games to be quite one sided....? How come???
October 4, 20213 yr There's just a wide disparity in the level of the teams, even in the upper tier of college football.
October 9, 20213 yr Anyone who ever said there’s no crying in football, never watched them do The Wave at a Iowa home game.
