How about just have Hurts run all the time?  That works pretty well pretty often.  Hurts runs right and throws a 1 yard pass, nope doesn't work,  Hurts runs right and throws the ball out of bounds, nope.  But Hurts runs right and keeps running for yards.  Try that.
