Earlier in the season the Eagles lost to San Francisco in a close game because the offense couldn't get the points in the 4th quarter and win it.  They just did that today on the road against one of the best defenses in the league.  Just a little perspective on progression this season.

During past seasons this team was bi polar. If the offense shows up, the D didnt. If the D showed up, offense didnt. Hopefully they can be more consistent with being on the same page down the road.

Are we still tracking justin jefferson v Reagor?  jefferson had 127 and a TD today.  Continues to prove himself as a true 1, playing all spots.  Howie, you still think that’s a good pick?  😂

Your team just won the game and you've gotta cry about this now?

He probably compares Reagor to Whiteside. Makes it look like he really turned it around with that selection if you put it that way lol

Now all the Hurts humpers come out. Defense and special teams won that game

You love suckng jalen sack don’t you? All you do on here is put his balls in your mouth. Bwest STFU

This win makes my weekend better.  Offense sucked for most part.  Dropped balls on both sides that could have decided game.  Defense and special teams won the game.

WTF are you talking about? That response wasn't even about Jalen. Ive literally said nothing about Jalen today ****

True, but at least Hurts didn‘t lose it.

I'm laughing at all the blame getting thrown around. How about this- they ALL basically suck together- coaches and players. Hopefully they grow, and not keep doing the same old shite every week. Glad they got a W, even though it was fugly.

Eventually Sirianni has to see that he needs to run the ball more right?

Siri? See a need to run the ball???

Yes.  Reagor had an atrocious day.  It’s relevant.

Incredible team effort. Will take the win. Eagles need to get Watkins and sanders mote evolved early in the game.

D actually showed up today. But Carolina is no Kansas City or Dallas. If they can play like this next week I might think differently.

But Carolina was 3-1.

Carolina has a good defense, and an offense led by Sam Darnold.

Are basic facts like this something that you just will not take into consideration?

The Defense doesn't do all that great against great offenses.

The Offense does well against teams with great offenses and defenses that aren't great.

These are things you should know.

At this point the Eagles are 2-3.

I predict the Eagles will win more often against bad teams than against good teams.   If your brain doesn't work,  you might find that controversial.

At the beginning of the season,  Vegas had the Eagles at 6.5 wins.  The Eagles should get at least 7 as long as Jalen Hurts continues to run often.  Hurts had zero rushing yards in the first half.  There is such a good correlation between drives that work and Hurts running in those drives.  2 rushing TDs by Hurts.  Against the 9ers,  there was that crushing short yardage failure.   The Eagles have learned something, they could still do more to have a more potent short yardage game,  a stronger running out the clock game,  but it was sufficient,  it worked instead of failing.    I also like that speed option play, despite the fact that it didn't really work.  It will work.  It isn't really what I'd consider the kind of run out the clock play you'd want, it tends to send the ball carrier outside a bit much but in ordinary situations,   Hurts has good size and the rbs running outside have good speed.

Consider also,  when wanting to blame Hurts,  the Eagles are leading the NFL in penalties by a large margin.   All those penalties are a factor,  they don't help.  Clean those up a bit.

Let’s enjoy the win. We can complain and moan when we lose, but today let’s just be happy about what happened out there

I mean I don't think it's about that. It's all about balance. Hurts was legit awful today. He struggled all day long and there is no getting away from that. But he stuck in there and in the end he was clutch. He, and this offense (let's not ignore that), came up big at the end.

I wouldn’t say they came up big….they had numerous chances with short fields and turnovers, and they finally managed to convert a couple of them.

This was one of Hurts worst games but we still won. Opposite of him being very good last week but we lost.

Jury is still out on him which is objective number #1 for this year - need an answer one way or the other. Arm, passing accuracy and consistency have always been the worry. We know he has the legs and the heart. But cant have these sort of clunkers.

When your benchmark is Darnold….Hurts (and the offense as a whole) was bad today. But just not as bad as Darnold

It was an ugly win, but a win. When it came down to it Hurts won  the game and the defense made critical stops and turnovers. They won on the road. You’re right. Just enjoy the moment.

The defense came up big with some turnovers too. Hurts was bad, but Darnold was worse.
