Eagles were dead and under with Siri's offense committing penalties and moving in reverse, when late in the 3rd Q I saw Sanders getting the ball. I almost jumped out of my seat. What is going here? Siri has finally seen the light?!?!!!! Right away a balanced offense started moving the ball. Amazing Heroics by the Eagles defense kept the offense alive throughout the game. Nice step forward in the right direction.

Why is the Offensive Coordinator never mentioned?

DC is responsible for the D,  HC is responsible for the offense.   OC is not responsible for anything?

Worried about our coach. Grave concerns.  Troubled. Unsettled. Bothered.

I am as well. I am telling myself to be patient, that this is a long process, and no judgment can be made until the end of the season.  But I just have this feeling in the pit of my stomach that Sirianni is not right for the job.  He has no feel for playcalling or the game itself.  He can't maintain discipline.  He is seriously damaging the careers of players like Goedert.

I will take the win, but what a terrible terrible display by the Oline, the Carolina Dline was in his face almost every down...

Eventually Sirianni has to see that he needs to run the ball more right?

Not sure.  I mean Reid didn't figure it out in 14 years.

I mean I don't think it's about that. It's all about balance. Hurts was legit awful today. He struggled all day long and there is no getting away from that. But he stuck in there and in the end he was clutch. He, and this offense (let's not ignore that), came up big at the end.

I think that's a bit of an exaggeration.  He definitely wasn't good though.

Yes.  Reagor had an atrocious day.  It’s relevant.

Atrocious?  How so?

All my friends are Panthers fans and they are all raving about what Hurts just did. He made his moment.

That's actually nice to hear that fans of another team are raving about our QB... Especially after a game where he struggled.

Jury is still out on him which is objective number #1 for this year - need an answer one way or the other. Arm, passing accuracy and consistency have always been the worry. We know he has the legs and the heart. But cant have these sort of clunkers.

Jury is definitely still out on him. In fact I was very much leaning towards the "he's not got it" side. And I still am as he was bad yesterday. But what he did learn was he can come up big when we need him and he can keep a level head even when he's been bad all game.

I don't think it's an exaggeration at all. I think most would agree that he was awful yesterday.

Don’t look at it in a vacuum. Instead compare him to other rookies. Heck, compare him to a vet like Darnold who’s been in the league for a couple of years and suddenly the cup isn’t half full.

I'm not looking at it in a vacuum though bud. I'm just pointing out that yesterday he was awful. And last week he was really really good.

He’s only human. We have those days too. I’m not expecting him to be the next Brady, Mahomes, Rodgers, Murray. Just expecting him to play sound football. Every.young QB makes mistakes, some more than others. Hurts is no exception but his play and demeanor is a huge improvement over the debacle we saw last year and that’s enough for me...for now.

And that's fine bud. Look you know i said yesterday that I'm not sure Hurts as got it. And then by the end of the game I was back to being undecided. What i do know is I'm absolutely rooting for this kid and I want him to succeed.

Define it.

If you mean by it top 10 albeit elite QB traits, I’m with you.

But...I never expected him to be named in that tier year one. Solid with some bumps down the road in his first year as a starter will do...

Progression is the name of the game. Good is good enough at the end of the season.

That's the million $ question right. What is it. I don't know to be honest. I don't have lofty expectations of him. I hope he can be a good QB who allows this team to build for the next couple of years before then making a move for a young potentially franchise QB. I think that's what we need from him. If he can be more than that them great.

Kudos to the Defense for keeping us in the game and giving us a chance to win.

The guy thinks he’s in college and obsessed with running backwards. He catches a pass for a first down and then runs backwards to lose the first down. This isn’t a smart football team, and he’s not a smart player.

I think they needed to step up considering  the last two games they didn’t even show up.

How many touchdowns has this team had called back due to penalties now? Still we do have to be patient with this process. We all just need to come to terms with the truth. The Eagles FO hired a coach that is here, because he’s doing things exactly how they want him to do it.

A win is a win thank God the Eagles won .

We all knew the toughest stretch of the season for the Eagles was the first half of the schedule. If they can hold afloat till the second half they could have a decent second half.
