Thursday vs. Brady. We're doomed.

Nah, the Eagles are in Brady's head. He is having nightmares of Hurts catching TD passes right about now....

He had 3-4 good throws today.  He got really lucky on the end zone mess, if Carolina gets 6, it’s on him, obviously a bad snap but as the QB, you gotta know to jump on it, or get it out of the end zone one way or another. You can’t try to pick it up, then just stare at it.

The bad snap end zone comedy- where Hurts tried to "wave away" his troubles. 🤣

Now all the Hurts humpers come out. Defense and special teams won that game

Defense did enough. Offense did very little, but just enough. Special teams did enough. Equals a W. Hard to watch game, but we'll all take that W. Team win. Hopefully they get their shite together as the season moves along.

To squeeze out a win in a game they were basically dominated in does show some character.

Oh yeah? The jerk store called, and they're outta you!

Well your mother!!!

Sirianni sucks worse at his job than Squirts, Reagor really fing sucks worse than his job than Squirts, and Squirts sucks.

I'll take a win whenever we can get one this year

Yes sir, same here. I'm surprised they are where I thought they could be, if things went semi right- at 2-3. I just hope they ALL grow together.

All I'm interested in this year is seeing these young players grow and hopefully we can find a qb to contend in 2 years

Young WRs make key catches, Slay 2x picks, Nelson pick, blocked punt, sacks at key moments, all from a D that was god awful until yesterday. Yet none of this goes on to the positive side of the scale of objectivity. Just a continued distorted negadelphian analysis. They Bird stole a game from a good team that has a crappy QB. It was a good character win to come out and do what it took in the second half. It never ceases to amaze me that Eagles fans will only be happy if every play is perfect and the final W has a score of 84-0. For a moment, switch places with the fans on the other team and create than postmortem of the game as a fan.

Ironically if they just did a few things different they might be 3-2 instead of 2-3. They still need to get much better though.

So many self-inflicted wounds.

Yup and that’s why they can only blame themselves for their record. I’m hoping for some improvement as the season goes on, but we will see.

How many touchdowns has this team had called back due to penalties now? Still we do have to be patient with this process. We all just need to come to terms with the truth. The Eagles FO hired a coach that is here, because he’s doing things exactly how they want him to do it.

Siri is presumably smart enough to see from his predecessor's fate what happens he if doesn't do things the way they want it done - even if it's wrong.

I’m not saying they win tonight, because I don’t think they will, but I think the circumstances play in the eagles favor to at least be competitive. You’ve got a short week for a 40+ year old QB, who has an injury to the thumb on his throwing hand. At home.

Again, they likely won’t win, but I think things are in their favor as much as they possibly could be. I’m thinking they lose but keep it within one score.

I agree. I think the score will be somewhat close but it won't feel like it. A little bit like the Carolina game where they were in control until the end. The difference is the Bucs won't F it up.

I honestly think Brady’s thumb is a bigger issue than they are letting on. If Hargrave can keep getting pressure up the middle they could force a couple of mistakes, especially with the bad thumb. This might be a rare game where Brady throws a couple of picks.

There was a whisper the other day that he could even miss Thursday night. Now I'm sure he won't but the fact that this was then said suggests the thumb may be worse than is being let on.

Here’s my outlandish theory…Brady always has played up injuries that were minor. Playing mind games. The fact that he’s trying to brush this one off tells me it’s more than what they’re letting on.
