Darius Slay capped off a big week by welcoming a new baby boy and then snagging two interceptions from Sam Darnold in Philadelphia 21-18 come from behind win.

Jonathan Gannon went away from his mostly zone approach, allowing Slay to shadow Panthers star wide receiver, D.J. Moore, for parts of the game. During game action where Slay was matched up with Moore, the veteran logged 2 passes defended, 3 solo tackles, 1 tackle for loss, 2 interceptions, and 42 total yards allowed.

With the Eagles set to match up against Tom Brady and the explosive Buccaneers offense, Gannon was noncommittal on whether Slay would travel or stay on his preferred side.

The Buccaneers will counter with Mike Evans (29-393-4), Antonio Brown (20-325-3), and Chris Godwin (29-366-2) at the skill positions.

The addition of Steven Nelson gives Gannon another option, but Avonte Maddox against Antonio Brown could be the one big matchup to watch.

Well to be fair... They've got a lot of weapons so I'm not even sure who Slay would shadow.

Gannon is a zone guy. Came out of a modified cover-2 scheme. He's not comfortable with his CB's in Man to man a lot. That's the reason.
