Pink Floyd filmed Live in Pompeii 50 years ago this month

    I saw them play at JFK back in 87, no Waters sadly.  They had only opened one gate to start letting people in near where we were when the band started playing Echoes. People started storming the gates to get in.  They were climbing over fences and crushing people up by the ticket takers.  Security ended up swinging open all the gates and herding us in without even checking the tickets. That was a pretty great night.

    I saw that tour at Carter Finley stadium in Raleigh.  Pretty sure someone gave me something because I felt funny, then things started looking funny, then everything was funny.  Really funny.  Maybe gave is the wrong word, sold would probably be more accurate.
