1) Extend Dallas Goedert or;

2) Franchise tag Dallas Goedert next year and then extend him.

There is no other option - he’s our best skill player and also a really good blocker.

You have to think there's something in the works or they wouldn't have moved away from Ertz until after the season.  Not sure he's the BEST skill player but he's a terrific young tight end.

I bet they franchise him.

The Eagles offered Goedert a contract and he turned it down. If they’re going to franchise him then they might as well pay him. So many holes and problems on this team no need to lock up a bunch of money just for one year. Get the deal done and move on to bigger issues with this roster. 

This is something Howie is actually good at, he'll get a deal done with Goedert.  They traded Ertz knowing Goedert is the future.

If Howie is a code ID-10-T, he might for the sake of it, just trade him. 

Dallas is going to sign with the Cowboys next year.

100%. They need to keep him around because he's a hell of a weapon!

I think he definitely is at the moment. Smith could surpass him if he fulfills his potential.

Yeah he could and I definitely think you want to run your offense through an explosive WR over a TE but hey both need to be big big parts of this offense for the future.
