You have to think there's something in the works or they wouldn't have moved away from Ertz until after the season. Not sure he's the BEST skill player but he's a terrific young tight end. EazyEaglez Posted November 1, 2021 Share Posted November 1, 2021 The Eagles offered Goedert a contract and he turned it down. If they’re going to franchise him then they might as well pay him. So many holes and problems on this team no need to lock up a bunch of money just for one year. Yeah he could and I definitely think you want to run your offense through an explosive WR over a TE but hey both need to be big big parts of this offense for the future.
