I dunno if it's comparable. The Stallworth incident happened the day after he was out drinking, after he'd slept. He was doing a few miles over the speed limit, and somebody basically ran out in front of him on a highway. His BAC was over the limit at 0.12. DUI for sure, not arguing that, but I would bet Ruggs' was higher.

Ruggs was apparently driving very recklessly in addition to being drunk. And he didn't have the excuse of having thought he slept it off.

How Stallworth handled it with the family and legal system after also spoke to his character, despite the incident. 

We'll see, but if I had to guess Ruggs is done unless something new comes to light.

In the stallworth incident, I think the victim ran across a highway so ultimately I don't think stallworth was even found at fault for the death.

The lawyers told him they could get him out of it with no charges but, Stallworth wanted to do the right thing and take his punishment.

Yea either way, not quite the same thing as this ruggs accident. Both are horrible obviously, but the NFL likely reinstated him based on some of the circumstances of the incident. But for Ruggs, they probably won't be nearly as lenient.

He basically didn't fight it. It's why he got a minimal sentence. He also settled with the family and didn't drag out a civil suit. 

It's a terrible thing that happened, but there's no better way a man can handle his business than how Stallworth did afterwards.

Vick was suspended indefinitely when he went to prison. He was reinstated after he finished his sentence and was released from prison.
