Denver's a mile high on every level; I thought this would open at a field goal or better but maybe a letdown spot for Denver.  They had that big win vs. the Cowboys and their bye week begins when the Eagles game ends so maybe they have a tee time.

Line: BRONCOS -2.5  Eagles
Total: 45
ML: BRONCOS - 124/Eagles +145

I realize the past doesn’t always mean anything when it comes to sports, especially when occurrences are so far apart, but I’ve seen this team play in Denver 3 times. 1998, 2005, and 2013. They’ve gotten blown out all 3 times. I’ll be curious to see if they keep this one close.

Jus off the top of my head, 2013 was Peytons mvp and the teams sb yr. 05 they made the afccg. Iirc 98 was a sb year for them as well.

The trend you point out is def noteworthy but yesterday aside this Denver team is not in the same stratosphere as the aforementioned.

Yeah that’s why I prefaced my comment by pointing out the pt doesn’t mean anything, but it’s interesting that they haven’t been competitive at all up there. And you’re right this Denver team isn’t on par with those, although this Eagles team isn’t far off the teams that played there. The 2013 team was good eventually, but at the time, Vick was still starting and we began 1-3.

Bridgewater will take the open throws underneath all day

Haven't been wrong on picking an Eagles game yet this season.  Feel really good about the Eagles in this one.

This defense feels perfectly suited for the Denver offense. I don't think they are a big explosive offense. Bridgewater isn't a big play QB. They'll take what we give them and they'll make their way down the field. No way I see us winning this one.

I think we will learn a lot about Siriani and Hurts the next couple of weeks.

Both Denver and New Orleans have really good D’s and are especially good against the run.

The Eagles won’t be able to run the ball like they did against the Lions and Chargers, but Siri still needs to commit to a balanced game plan and not put it all on Hurts.

Hurts will have more to do, but both him and Siri need to stay patient against two good Ds.

And Gannon needs to keep two pretty bad offenses under control.

That means the Eagles only have to score 15 points for the over! Woo Hoo! If Gannon isnt fired this week, bet the over!!

I see another loss for the Iggles.

Denver, riding high off the big win at Dallas, brings the confidence into this game and beats the Iggles.

Elway, Plummer, Manning.

Can't Bridgewater is among them (but then again, Gannon's defense is likely to make him look like he belongs ... at least for that day).

Actually if I remember correctly, Elway didn’t play that 98 game. It may have been Bubby Brister, but I’m fairly sure Elway was out that game.

Wow, if accurate that is damn good memory.  I can hardly remember who played QB last year yet alone 23 years ago!  lol

Hard game to get a feel on. I'm not really worried about Bridgewater picking them apart. I am more worried about stopping Javonte Williams who leads the league in missed tackle percentage. Edwards is going to need to step up because I don't think Singleton can stop him.

On the flip side, Eagles probably can't run all over them. Hurts is going to have to throw. We'll see how that goes. Bottom line, Denver plays physical, Eagles play passive. I'm leaning towards Denver.

I think this will end up being a 6-8 point win for the Broncos.

Their offense isn't particularly explosive but that's kind of perfect for them versus this defense. They don't need to be they just need to move the ball and against us they will.

Their defense is pretty good and they do stop the run so that will force Hurts to pass more and that's not good.

I think Broncos will lead early, build up a 2+ score lead and Hurts will rally the offense later in the game to bring it close.

Won on the over last week lol. Woulda been my luck for it to have ended in a 24-24 tie and me to miss it lmao

You guys are right. Bubby Brister played the 1998 game lol.

Denver Broncos 41, Philadelphia Eagles 16 (jt-sw.com)

That's depressing knowing we got our arses whooped that badly by Brister.

Broncos 27 Eagles 17

Eagles uni will be white jersey with black pants. First time ever with that uni combo.

So, they either will win, or get their doors blown off. We can blame the new uni. LOL

Too bad they couldn’t have changed the green to black in the helmets too.  That would have been a game changer.

I've got a lot of useless information up there I store for times like this 😂😂

Homer in me say Eagle win 22-21, that’s right 2pt conversion for the win. 🏆
