    What a great career he has had at Action News.  Jim was smart, when he had the opportunity to work in NYC, he stayed put.  Jim has been king of the hill in Philly for the better part of 40 years and he knew not to give up a good thing - unlike Larry Kane whose career never recovered when he left his plum job as the lead anchor at Action News to take a job anchoring in NYC that he did not last long at.

    Born in 1978 and growing up in South Jersey, his voice is one of the first I remember as a child...   

    What a legend! Enjoy retirement Jim!
