The 3 NFC South teams are all trash. No way one of them makes it.

They are in the mix though and at this point of the season I think they have as good a chance as any. I agree they are trash but most of the teams in that mix are.

Given how many NFC East games there are to come (especially 2 between us and the WFT) I'm not sure it is possible to send 3 teams to the play offs? But imagine after the things that have been said about this division.

I predict 2 teams going to the playoffs from our division. It will be Most likely Dallas, and the winner of Eagles vs Washington remaining games..going to the playoffs. It is all about beating the Washington.

Honestly.... dono

Think 49ers will grab one spot and then one of eagles/football team.
Vikings shot themselves this week with that brutal loss to Lions.

So again the Cowboys have not locked anything up though they are ahead.  Yeah going to be a huge battle down the stretch.   But in 2006 and 2007 the NFC East sent 3 teams to the playoffs.

And in I think 2007, had there been the third wild card then ALL FOUR NFC East teams would have been in, the Eagles as a last-place team at 8-8.

And if my Playoff Machine scenario is right, it happens again even with the Cowboys losing ALL of their remaining games (with the Eagles the 4 seed as NFC East champs, an 8-9 Football Team the 6th seed and an 8-9 Cowboys team the 7th seed).

EDIT: Reflecting the fact the NFC East is now in play, I have re-done the entire poll questions to reflect that, so the poll questions are new versions of what had been up there.

They are trash but because we are in divisional part of season they play each other from here on out.  So one of them (I'd guess Carolina) could pick on the others to get in.

To me the least 2 spots come down to the Niners, Eagles and Washington. Unfortunately the Eagle loss to SF hurts then if there’s a tie.

I think Eagles make it and play the Packers.

This is my screenshot where I have the Eagles, running the table. the Cowboys losing ALL of their remaining game and the Football Team beating the Cowboys TWICE but losing all of their other games while the 49ers stumble down the stretch a bit:

In this, Eagles win the NFC East and host the Rams in the first round, while we have the same Football Team-Buccaneers matchup we had in Round 1 last year (except this time, it's in Tampa) with the Football Team the first time in NFL history to make the playoffs in consecutive seasons with a losing record while the Cowboys (like the Football Team at 8-9) in spite of losing ALL of their last five making the playoffs and being at Green Bay in Round 1.

In summary, there is a 100% chance that Eagles, Cowboys, and WTF are all playing golf by round 2 of the playoffs, either via not making the playoffs or losing in round 1.

Can we? Sure. Anything can happen, but say we make the playoffs at any seed level. Do we go on a "St. Nick" sort of run and win it all? If not, do we want to make the playoffs or have a better pick in the draft?

Playoffs all day. Having a better pick guarantees nothing

I wouldn’t say 100%.  More like 99.9999%.

@Wallyhorse need the poll to reflect if Minshew or Hurts is the QB

They aren't going to let Minny2 play, so they will miss the playoffs. They are going to go down for the season with the RB at QB.

I don't trust this time and so for that reason no I don't think they make the play offs. It is in their hands and they have a favourable schedule to do it but I just don't see it. And every team they play will fancy their chances of beating the Eagles let's not forget that.

So what you're saying is that it hurts that we have Howie?

Well with Minny Winning it knocked us out of the 8th Seed to the 9th Seed.    We are going to need San Fran to lose to Bengals.   Carolina and Falcons play each other so one of them will be knocked down further this week.  We own the tiebreaker over both.   Rams seem locked in the 5th Seed but they play Arizona so a loss could knock them down further.   As for Dallas and Washington.  If Dallas Wins it knocks Washington down so that's a Win for us.  If Washington Wins it knocks Dallas down in the Division so that's a win for us.   Plus they would be coming into Philly with a 5 Game winning streak which could be a trap game for them with us coming off a Bye.  The Bottom line is our margin for error is very low.   We are going to need a 2019 run again down the stretch.

Still have a long way to go.

Vikings still have the Bears TWICE and those division games are always tough.  Also have to play the Packers in Lambeau who may need to run the table to have any chance at the #1 seed.

If the Eagles take care of business after the bye and run the table, they likely will be in the playoffs and with some help from the Football Team (who play the Cowboys TWICE) win the division.

If The Eagles Beat Washington and the Giants

Washington Beats Dallas Twice but losses to the Eagles

Dallas loses to Washington Twice and the Giants

In Week 17

Washington 8-7

Dallas 8-7

Eagles 8-7

With 2 weeks left.   Now that would be crazy because we play Washington and Dallas after that and could win the Division out right.   But yes right now it seems we may have to go 4-0 or 3-1 at the very worst.
