That explains quite a bit. No goat looks like that, especially the image of Bill they used. The proportions mostly resemble a bighorn ram, which is much more muscular than any got species. You could forgive the artistic liberty of a steroided up goat, except that with both Rams and Goats when they charge they line their spine up with their horns so their whole body absorbs the impact. The only horned ungulates I know of that have such a hump in their back when they ram something are bovines (Buffalo, Bison, Cattle, etc). Like the Gorilla thing mentioned, it’s as if they didn’t actually want their mascot to be a Goat.

You are all already winners. That was one of the most entertaining Army-Navy games in recent memory. Great upset even though everyone’s favorite coach did everything in his power to lose it.
