pisceschica
This is off topic. But I see that this year the nfl is back to their old playoff schedule specifically with the super bowl. It’s back to being 1 week after conference title games followed by pro bowl.

Just another reason they should have gone with a 2nd bye instead of a 17th game. Same extra week of TV ads/NFL business but you take better care of the players for the grind. The extra week of stadium sales is peanuts, especially at an extra game every other year.

How about 17 games AND a 2nd bye. You know the owners are going to be pushing for 18 games. 18 games and 2 byes? And of course more $$ for the players so players $$/game remain the same. Whether the extra $$ makes up for the wear and tear is another question.
