Playoff stashes

Ok so I have a bye this week for playoffs and I’m 3rd in the waiver order.  I don’t plan to pick anyone up and will try to land the top waiver pick for next week when it matters for me.  My question is who are your top 4-5 guys to target for a playoff stash?  I know it’s hard without knowing who’s available but throw some names out there for me….I’m thinking of handcuff guys like a mike davis in case Patterson goes down….or F even gainwell in case miles injures himself again…something that might be under the radar…..

Personally, I made sure to stash Sony Michel right before our fantasy playoffs started since I have Darrell Henderson.

Rashaad Penny will likely be the top waiver pickup of the week so I'd consider him if you need RB depth.

Justin Jackson would be a solid stash with Austin Ekeler's injury and chance of missing TNF this week. Ekeler is my RB1.

Look to see if anyone dropped Julio Jones in your league, he may be worth stashing if you're desperate at WR. I'm contemplating dropping him in my league but don't quite need the roster spot just yet, I have an IR spot.

I put in waiver claims on the latter 2 RBs and already have Michel. I probably won't need to start either but better to keep my opponents from having these guys 😎

I missed out on Sony michel earlier this season.  But that would have been great! I agree on justin Jackson too so I’ll take a look at him.  Maybe hines too in case Taylor ever gets hurt or gets Covid.

Handcuff your RBs. Everyone is going to jump for Penny this week, but Seattle's backfield can't be trusted.

At WR I like St. Brown on the Lions. He's getting 10+ targets a week, so there's opportunity to do something with them. I don't really like the other deep sleepers out there... Guys like MVS and Osborn (Vikings) are too boom/bust for my taste. Guyton is going to take a backseat with Allen back, etc.

Either Mack or Deon Jackson is the handcuff to Taylor. Hines pretty much stays in the same role, catching passes 3rd down specialist.

I grabbed Penny last week when Darrel henderson was out.  Huge payday on that one.  But agree he can’t be trusted week to week.  I’m thinking maybe christian Kirk as well because Hopkins is banged up and Kirk seems to be the guy to get boosted when Hopkins was out previously.

Hopkins is out for the rest of the regular season.  Nice pick up.

I still don't trust Penny

He’s had a mediocre year but after losing king Henry earlier and battling 4 games without Kamara, this season has been a challenge!

penny against the rams could be tough...seahags will likely get blown out. but he's at home against the bears & lions after that. of course, he'll probably get hurt before then...but if he doesn't, he could be useful.

Kirk and/or AJ Green, since Hopkins had season-ending surgery.

I'd go with Kirk over Green

I agree but I think it's really close. Kirk is already owned in my league, so I'd consider Green too, who is more likely to be available.

Kirk is on the wire in 4/5 of my league's but I don't have a spot on my roster for him
