bobeph Posted December 19, 2021 Posted December 19, 2021 I started a new job on November 1st. I literally have zero time to uk around. Many of you work in the private sector and eat deek on here all day. How do you manage? When you all were paying my salary I had so much time to uk around on here. This is my first action in almost 2 months. That’s only b/c Mrs. Bo is sick and I’m bored. So I started crushing Claws at like 6:23 pm. I’m so uked up now. anyway, I retired from Government, got a private sector gig. In like 7 years I’ll pull a full pension (your tax dollars) and have a full time salary. fat uker ftw! Claws up, ho’s down! 1 1
JohnSnowsHair Posted December 19, 2021 Posted December 19, 2021 Trade on your knowledge and skill, and if you're good enough they'll pay you to be productive in between uk'ing around on here. 1
Dave Moss Posted December 19, 2021 Posted December 19, 2021 The trick is to get a job where you can do in four hours what everyone else there does in eight

Gannan Posted December 19, 2021 Posted December 19, 2021 Since the pandemic, I work really really strange hours. Many days I start doing some work around 7am when I'm done getting the kiddos lunches made, then I might finish around 10pm. I take several breaks throughout the day. I always take time in the middle of the day for a 3-4 mile jog (so I don't become one of those fatties who die of covid). My odd hours sometimes drive my wife crazy, but I really like it. I would never want to go back to working in an office again. It also affords me time to do drive by posts here to gripe about the sixers, or remind everyone how lucky we are to have Joe Biden as our president. 1

iladelphxx Posted December 20, 2021 Posted December 20, 2021 It's called Middle Management. 1.Become a Director 2. Hire good Managers 3. Become friends with the Execs above you. 4. Make at least one good joke and offer one good idea on every conference call you attend. 5. Humbly take credit for the successes of your subordinates. 6. Find scapegoats to sacrifice if things go bad. 7. Collect high 6 figure salary 1 1

Toastrel Posted December 20, 2021 Posted December 20, 2021 Collecting welfare is not a 'government job' - although the difference between this and elected official, duty wise, is slight.
