Most of these replies seem to include completely rational dislike of the players mentioned.

Mark Simoneau -- never met a RB who he didn't give 2-3 more yards to after contact. My irrational pair of glasses

Just like the player he was supposed to emulate, Zach Thomas.

But I'm gonna go with Mike Golic.  He doesn't even deserve a mention when you talk about that DLine, not exactly coaching material with his football knowledge either, but he's the relatable white dude so he's the one with the TV & radio career.  Give me a break.

Current Eagles, pick any of our recent toilet paper soft high draft picks.  Jones, JJAW and if the rumors are right Dillard.  They all better show up this year.

Yeah, rational/obvious ones are no fun.

I am completely soured of Sidney Jones. The experiment is over, he's done.

Past - FredEx.  Should have been Reggie Wayne.

Current - Nate Gerry.  Plays like hot garbage and never gets cut.

So you admit not liking Gerry is irrational? lmao

T.O.

Vick

Smallwood

I can't believe I had to read 3 pages before T.O. showed up.  All time player I irrationally dislike and really wish his team TD receiving record would be wiped off the books.  Mostly because he's a self-centered jerk.

Current: Alshon.

Does Reno Mahe count?

Not liking Alshon is "rational" though

I do not mean Dawk. And I do not mean McNabb.

I think I know who but I'm not going to say it either lol

Guess I missed the point of the topic, was a little buzzed when I posted.  I just saw DISLIKE and off I went.

True.

OK, irrational: Dallas Goedert.  Not for any particular reason.  Maybe because his name is Dallas.

To catch everyone up, he admitted it was Foles. You don't have to guess anymore. Nick. Foles. Big D Nick. The MVP of the only Super Bowl the Eagles ever won. Etc.

(I probably like him less than most people too, but I definitely don't dislike him.)

Missed the irrational part so in that case:

Past: Lito Sheppard (dky but always thought Brown was better and he was way overrated IMO)

Present: Desean Jackson reuninon version (played 1 hell of a first game and that was about it. Like I thought would happen he got injured and we saw why trading anything for an over 30s player was not wise)

I think I reached that point with Mcnabb.

I think I was correct in my realization/opinion, some time around when Jeff Garcia rallied the team to a playoff run circa 2006, that Mcnabb lacked what it took between the ears to ever, every lead this team to a title in the second stage of his career.  From that point on, even when he did do good things, I couldn't see it or acknowledge it.

Kevin Kolb, easily and by far.

I can't hate him. I've met him. He suffers from post concussion syndrome and has headaches everyday. Which he treats by drinking. I feel bad for the guy. But yeah as a football player not very good.

Torrey Smith:  He was just too chock full of wonderfulness.  I don't like a starting receiver who scores touchdowns so rarely that he cries after each one.

Malcolm Jenkins:  Way too full of himself.  Loved the camera too much.  Didn't care for the fashion b.s.  Didn't like the fist in the air - and even after that, he caved when Lurie proposed a package that would give him more attention.  But I begrudgingly acknowledge that he was a good player for most of his time in Philly and he did help us win a championship.

Ron Jaworski:  Had a sense of entitlement to the starting job, despite being a mid-tier QB at best.  Slow, immobile and lacking the ability to put touch on the football.  We won the NFCCG in spite of him (9 completions for less than 100 yards), and lost the SB in large part because of him (first pass was a pick).  He was also a choke artist and otherwise way overrated.  As a commentator, very very corny and stiff.

Freddie Mitchel.  He was a stunod.

Irrational Past:  I couldn’t stand Asante Samuel.  I thought he was overrated and got burned on the double moves too often because he gambled a lot.

Irrational Present:  Nate Sudfeld.  I now can’t stand this guy because he is the reason we wasted a 2nd rounder on Jalen Hurts.

Jalen Mills. I irrationally think he should be a stud and often forget he was a 7th round pick.

Michael Vick

Do you feel the same about that player? 😁

The Eagles starting DTs in the mid-to-late 2000s -- Mike Patterson and Brodrick Bunkley. Undersized two-gappers who wore down every year. Drove me nuts.

Man how could I forget about Kevin Kolb. There was a significant element of the fanbase who was screaming for him to become The Guy for us, but all I saw was a guy who aimlessly blundered around like a headless chicken whenever facing pressure.

And then we traded him and got Rodgers-Cromartie who was a total bum for us. Ugh. Barf.

Great answer. I tried really hard to love Patterson, specifically. He did have that memorable fumble return against the 49ers. But for a first round pick... meh.

Christ, they took Simon, Patterson, and Bunkley all in the first round. Bleh... I hate using first round picks on one-trick pony DTs.
