Grilling ??  Aren't you supposed to be out buying up all the toilet paper and bottled water when it snows ??

They do that around here.  I lived in central pa for 10+ years.  2 inches of SNOW, was nothing there.

27° out, time to throw the steaks on.

Oh yeah.  That has a nice season to it.  I saw one the other day that has a grilling part and now a burner with a frying basket.  Probably should have come with a fire extinguisher.

I cooked pizza on my Weber charcoal grill Saturday night in similar temperatures…

After telling the kids we were doing pizza and a movie night, my wife turned on the oven.  She assumed I wouldn’t  want to use the grill because it was cold and dark outside. Not only did I prove her wrong, I did it in flip flops and a t-shirt because I was too lazy to get my jacket. 🤣

Speaking of pizza on the grill… does anyone have a recommendation for a pizza stone that can take the extreme high temperature of cooking over charcoal?  We had 2 and both have cracked over the last year or so from the heat. The last one was pampered chef.

 my wife got my cast iron pan out becasue she assumed the same thing.

Regular, standard Weber gas grill for me. Fired it up yesterday, sunny and about 40 degrees or so here in Delaware.

No recipes, just basic food. I grilled bacon, Italian Chicken Sausage, and 2 Hamburgers that I turned into smaller, slider type burgers.

I have been known to grill at 9 am on a Saturday/Sunday. LOL.

We have a pizza stone for the indoor oven...but I am not sure if it's strong enough for direct heat.  You can always use your grill like an oven...Get the stone up to temp with indirect heat and just baked it in the grill.

I had to do that with a turkey one year for thanksgiving.  Oven broke down and would only work on broil.  So I baked the turkey in the grill.  It was a charbroil with the dome lid.  Which creates it's on convection heating process.  One of the best turkeys I ever made.

A mask for E coli and then eats the BLT with the lettuce.  I am sure they were trolling someone there.  Either way, cool video.

Yeah there are a lot of people out there making a living on youtube, and I support that if it works for them. But I can't stand the like/subscribe hawking that borderlines on spamming and panhandling. I've even made a couple of videos (including my recent cowboys one - please like and subscribe!) but I can't bring myself to beg people to watch them.

Nevertheless - I want to eat everything I see these guys make. That bacon/egg sandwich looks amazing.

This is one of the few I subscribe to.  Camps in his truck or beetle camper or his new Japanese camper he just bought.  But mostly he his truck.  He does all kinds of stuff outdoors and always makes something.  The whole summer he toured baja and man there were some cool videos of him doing baja stuff and then having some of the locals cook for him.  It's camping and food centric.  Seems like a good kid too.

He camps in them all the time.  Dude is nuts.  He once spent the night in his truck at -10 with tea candles for heat...

Get the Big Green Egg stone. Designed for exactly what you’re looking to do.

I have a Traeger pellet grill, 36" Blackstone flat top, and just got a rec tec Bullseye for xmas (haven't used it yet.).

I also have a Breeo smokeless fireplace with a grill that goes over it. Mostly use that for late night snacks when we are outside, sausages, burgers; hotdogs, etc. Although in the fall one night we marinated some steaks and grilled them with a bunch of veggies and had fajitas. They came out delicious.

Zoom meeting while cooking early dinner.  Just a little spatchcock chicken and corn over the fire.

Today -- bacon, slider burgers, hot dogs and sirloin steak tips. Grilling with wind blowing at 15 to 20 mph sucks. I can take cold weather, but the wind.....ugh.

Looks good. That wind played hell on my fire management

Yeah I had trouble controlling the fire/temperature the whole time. Pain in the a**. I am surprised that I didn't lose the flame once or twice.
