Ty Detmer's first game where he threw like 4 TDs to Irving Fryar

Jim McMahon's 40-8 game vs the 49ers

Randall vs Giants in 88 and 89

I believe Randall was the QB in that Niners game. I don’t remember Randall being outstanding or bad, but I do recall it was Charlie Garner’s coming out game.

heres one for us 80s guys, randall vs washington redskins, maybe 89?, eagles won I believe 42 to 35, I think, too lazy too look it up, great game by both teams, man the eagles shouldve won a SB with some of those guys

I can't remember exact games from when I was a kid and not sure they qualify but when I think of great QB performances I also think of 2 Randall moments.  That crazy acrobatic play where he was almost down and then got up and completed a TD pass.  And when he threw a 95 yard TD bomb to Fred Barnett.

Buffalo - 89 I think - we lost that game though, but what a play!

We all can’t be in our 80’s remembering Adrian Burk throwing 7 Tds in one game against the Redskins in 1954.

You mean Randall in 1994?

Yup.  That was the lasting memory for me... that and Young screaming on the sidelines when he got pulled.

Garner wasn't actually super great that day, but had 2 TDs and in his first action showed that he was a legit RB... something the Eagles really hadn't had since Wilbert Montgomery.

That’s not a nice thing to say to the person who can blackmail you and GA4M for rubbing each other with margarine and Fruity Pebbles, listening to Kate Smith sing God Bless America while you guys are playing whack the tonsils in Cher wigs.

Oh yeah, definitely remember Young chewing out Seifiert (sp). Also remember William Fuller sacking Young for a safety. Great game.

My bad. For some reason I recall McMahon being in that game. Maybe he replaced Randall in garbage time.

I was actually at that game … had great tickets around the 40 yard line.  I agree with you that it was more of an Oakland defense failure than an epic performance by Foles.  Still, I mean, that is tied for the NFL record, and he got his 7th TD in the 3rd freaking quarter.  You have to include that game in the top 10.

I've never heard why Chippah pulled Foles in the 3rd quarter. Why not let him set the record?

Don't think a reason was given. Likely just as a common practice of pulling players when a score is so lopsided late.

McMahon wasn't on that team

#1 - Nick Foles in SB LII.

#2 - Nick Foles in the 2018 (2017 Season) NFCCG vs the ViQueens (FOLES!  CLAP!  FOLES!  CLAP!).

The rest of you can finish the list.

perfect answer

He didn’t pull him in the third quarter.  After the 7th TD, he left him in for another drive in the third quarter, which went three and out, and then another drive in the fourth quarter, which also went three and out.  With about 9 minutes left and up 49-13 the next time they got the ball, going for the record at that point would have been a bush league move and Chip very appropriately put in Matt Barkley to get him some work and mop up.

Sorry, wasn’t following football during the Randall era.

That comeback in Washington after he signed his contract extension was epic.

I didn't remember that Foles got 2 series after #7, thanks.

I was rewatching some of Wentzs highlights from 2017 and some of the things he was doing was just ridiculous. The athleticism he displayed before the knee injury and after are just night and day. I think he could have been an all time great if not for the injury.

Jim McMahon vs the Browns 1991. We were down 23-0 and won 32-30.
