Just remember, we've watched howie with draft picks before......

what SEEMS to be the obvious pick for the eagles,  always ends up being the consensus 2nd or 3rd rated player at this position.  Every year, hopes are high and the excitement builds only for all of us to say....... "WTF"?????

Yup I say the same every damn year.

I’m all about WR in free agency. They should be able to find a veteran who is at least a solid WR 2. As for draft - I would not mind if they used one top 20 pick to take Linderbaum or to trade down to pick up an extra first or second year. But at least two of the firsts need to be used on the D and I wouldn’t mind at all if all 3 were.

One DE is a must. Two would be interesting, but it feels like a strong corner draft, so hoping for a pick there.

I'm in complete agreement with that ... if we use only 2 of our 1s (and trade back with the other to pick up a 2023 1 or 2 in the process), then I hope to use those first 2 picks on DE and CB (obviously assuming there isn't a major run on one of those position groups snapping up the very best prospects ahead of us).  If we do use all 3 then I am somewhat open to what we do with that 3rd pick ... another DE (Johnson), a DT (Leal), a LB (Lloyd), Linderbaum ... I am even somewhat open to using it on another WR if the right guy is there (I probably like Wilson the best ... don''t like London or Williams that much) but also agree I think it is in our best interest to add a WR via free agency.  I don't trust Howie to hit on 2 WRs in back-to-back years with so many swings and misses over the years at the position (but do feel Wilson would be a pretty safe pick).

Yeah agreed again.

The Eagles have a fair amount of young talent on offense and very little on the D. A veteran WR makes a lot of sense to help the younger ones and Hurts. But the Eagles have to be smart. I don't think Williams will hit the market and Godwin may not. Adams would be too much.

I wouldn't be upset if the Eagles say signed Marcus Williams and re-signed Nelson for a year or two and used one of their firsts on a WR. Linderbaum would be great, but it sounds like Kelce is going to play another year and Stoutland is by far our best position coach. Could draft a center in the 3rd or 4th and see what he can do with him.

If that happened - provided they took a DE and ideally a CB a WR like Wilson I'd be fine with. Then go back to the D again in the 2nd.

The key for me is... You've got to go and get talent in the draft and use FA to supplement and complement.

So... Sign a good veteran WR but if a WR falls to you in the draft who you love then go get them. Why not? This team lacks talent at WR and who knows how long the veteran would be around.

Same really at CB and S. Id be good with them bringing back Nelson even if they can then add a really good CB in the first or the second round. This team has so many holes and so many issues that they need really good young talent.

you guys need to start talking about players we don’t want like we do want them!!! whenever we talk about who we want it never happens!!’
