I like choosing a random word each day to start rather than doing the same one each time. I guess I like to keep things spicy.

I start with spear or mouth every day. try to knock out as many vowels as possible.

the internet has ruined me.

I work in as many of letters out of RSTLNE and AIOU on my first and second guesses. Then go from there.

It seems like a lot of you are cheating at Wordle: Study

I will cop to occasionally looking up a potential word to confirm that I have the right spelling. Most often it's not even the solution. Is that cheating?

My extent of "cheating" is sometimes trying words that I'm not even sure are words in an attempt to rule out letters. Most recent example is ARENE on my way to solve AGEEE.

I have only ever tried real words, I didn't even think about the game rejecting words.

I sometimes spell things the British way (colour, theatre) because I worked extensively with some British colleagues early in my career.

I know, just the example that came to mind. Metre is a 5-letter word. I'm just saying between Wordle originally being UK and then being US based, I questioned the spelling of some words I was looking to try.

What do you do if they pick a word that's this?  You can use S, M, P, F, W, H, or B, and you only get 6 guesses.
