Posted February 20, 20223 yr Eagles land 2 Georgia defenders, WR Treylon Burks in Todd McShay's latest mock draft Glenn Erby February 16, 2022 10:37 am ET With the Super Bowl over and teams now transitioning towards draft preparation and NFL free agency, Philadelphia will be among the teams to watch with three first-round picks and plenty of needs all over the board. It’s the mock draft season and ESPN’s Todd McShay just released his second installment, and the Eagles get an A+ grade, landing two All-American’s from Georgia and one of the SEC’s top wide receivers. 15. Philadelphia Eagles (via IND) Travon Walker, DE, Georgia Mandatory Credit: Brett Davis-USA TODAY Sports A rugged and athletic defensive end who can also play the tackle position, Walker would transition to the NFL with his college teammate, while also upgrading Philadelphia’s pass rush. 19. Philadelphia Eagles Treylon Burks, WR, Arkansas Mandatory Credit: Butch Dill-USA TODAY Sports A big, physical, and fast wide receiver, Burks would be the third straight wide receiver drafted by Philadelphia in the first round of the draft. Standing 6-foot-3 with a dynamic catch radius, Burks would elevate the Eagles in the red zone. https://theeagleswire.usatoday.com/lists/philadelphia-eagles-nfl-draft-2022-todd-mcshay-espn-mock-draft-treylon-burks/
February 20, 20223 yr Yes yes and yes. Although I seriously doubt that Howie will keep all 3 picks. And for that third pick, if kept, wouldn't you pick the best CB/Safety on your board?

February 21, 20223 yr I was trying to think of who the 2nd Georgia defender could be- had a mental block on Dean, because he is a LB and my brain just automatically discounts the possiblity of the Eagles taking a LB in the 1st. I'd be ecstatic with this draft. I'd be even more happy if we traded away a pick for a 23 1st rounder and still got Dean and Walker.
February 21, 20223 yr Wrong, wrong, wrong. The eagles are going to draft an EDGE and a CB. Book it. The WR mocks will disappear after the Eagles address it it big time in FA. I do think the Eagles will pick a LB high, but look for it in 2nd rd.

February 21, 20223 yr I'm not as high on Dean as it seems everyone else is. I really think his rep comes from that one play in the national championship game where he tracked the receiver who was running a jet sweep and made the play. I also don't like 5'11" linebackers. If we sign Williams, Smith-Schuster, or another top line receiver we don't need a 1st round receiver. Then we shoot for Perkins, Watson, Pierce, Doubs, Ross, Bell, Tolbert, or Rambo on day 2. Love the Walker pick. I'd rather see a corner and a safety along with Walker in the first round.
