2021 NFL Playoffs Schedule

Conference Championships - Jan. 23 and Jan. 24

Super Bowl - Feb. 7

(Pro Bowl - Jan. 31)

...

Primetime Eagles games: 4

Strength of schedule: 19th easiest based on forecasted 2020 season win totals

Flexible scheduling: NFL flex scheduling can occur from Week 5 through Week 17. The league can flex no more than two games into Sunday Night Football between Week 5 and Week 10.

Coronavirus pandemic considerations: No one knows for sure what football is going to look like this year. Will the games even take place at all? Will there be cancellations or postponements? Will teams play in empty stadiums? So much uncertainty.

Formulaic scheduling: The NFL schedule follows a set pattern each year so we already have an idea of who the Eagles will play in future seasons. Six of the Eagles’ sixteen opponents will always be their NFC East rivals: the Cowboys, Giants, and Redskins. The Eagles will also play the entirety of one of the NFC Divisions. The NFC West is in rotation for 2020, which means the Eagles will play against the Seahawks, 49ers, Rams, and Cardinals. Another four games come against an AFC Division. This year, the Eagles will face the AFC North: Ravens, Steelers, Browns, and Bengals. The remaining two games come against NFC teams that finish in the same spot in the divisional standings as the Eagles. Since the Eagles finished first in their division in 2020, they will play the Packers from the NFC North and the Saints from the NFC South.

17th game coming soon: The new CBA allows the league to add a 17th game as soon as the 2021 season. The latest it will be incorporated is 2023. It remains to be seen how that 17th game fits into the formula. Until then, this is what the Eagles’ future opponents look like:

2021: NFC South, AFC West, NFC North and West divisional finish, NFC East

2022: NFC North, AFC South, NFC South and West divisional finish, NFC East

2023: NFC West, AFC East, NFC North and South divisional finish, NFC East

I hope we do lose the first 4 weeks. Just to avoid the Niners. I hate the Niners, they are a really good team and it's my friends team so losing to them hurts more.

Season tickets already paid for. Booked my hotels for Pittsburgh and Cleveland away games. Tickets are next. Just hoping no changes are made, lol

Not that bad of a schedule. Nice to see them have 3 home games before their bye and then not traveling too far after the bye to play the Giants.

They do have a rough stretch of Seattle,GB,NO but 2 of the three are at home.

I wonder what team the Eagles will be playing February 7th. The Bucs?

NFC vs NFC in the Super Bowl ... that'd be a new wrinkle.

Funnily enough my friends mum predicted a Niners Saints SB a few years ago. And she was a regular viewer of the NFL.

Does anyone else think that actually the schedule has probably fallen about as well as could be expected for us? It's a tough schedule based on opponents but we knew that anyway.

Yea. Luckily we get 3 bye weeks in a row before playing Seattle, Green Bay, NO. then finish against three bums.

That's a grim run there after the bye.

It's always 10-6! 😁

Obviously always a difficult endeavor trying to figure out Ws and Ls (especially this early in the offseason) but I have them at 9-7.

I think they go 3-3 over the first 6 weeks, likely go into the bye 5-3, then improve to 7-3 before dropping the next 3.  That puts us at 7-6 where I think we drop 1 of the final 3.
