I forgot in trumpbot land that day was all a big misunderstanding over legitimate political discourse. Just some light meandering and sight seeing, no big deal. That’s a lot of words to try to rationalize your mental illness caused fictions. 1 minute ago, EaglesRocker97 said: We can tell. Let it out bro.

I didn't notice it at all, but Biden not going down the identity politics track is yet another reason it was a pretty good SOTU. Expectations were low, and Biden was pretty solid. He stressed being unified, very little of what he said was (or should be) divisive. He didn't give the entertainment wing of the Republican party much meat to toss to their base. IOW even better than I originally thought
March 2, 20223 yr FWIW the DOW is up a couple hundred points. I guess that how Trumplicans like lynched measure a speech, so he will have to give Biden at least a B-.

IOW even better than I originally thought He did better than I thought he would. The Ukraine beginning was good. Once he went into the laundry list it went down a bit. Rough transitions from topic to topic were apparent. I feel it was more directed at Congress than the people. But, less gaffes than I thought, and wasn’t divisive. I give him a solid C+.

He cannot help but hate the SOTU.

Whatever my failures are, they will never amount to the serial failure of being duped into voting twice for a failed businessman and gameshow huckster and then continuously supporting a disgraced, twice-impeached former president who literally tried to destroy the republic because he couldn't handle the reality of losing re-election. You fail as an American citizen.
March 2, 20223 yr Did anyone ever think we'd get to a point where the president would verbally ish himself multiple times during a SOTU and everyone would agree that he did way better than expected? Pretty amazing how far we've fallen.

March 2, 20223 yr Dow's up around 400 at the moment. I'm not sure why that was the measurement for the SOTU success, but since it was, that's a bigly win for Biden.

March 2, 20223 yr It's obvious that reality of how bad last night's speech was is setting in for CVON Code Pink, because they're in here lashing out like the basement dwelling incels that they are.
