Released tonight. Lets be honest, the Eagles should be interested in any/all LB's as our group is absolutely putrid.

It would be nice to see him back. He was surprisingly healthy in AZ and he's definitely a field general at LB.

It would be nice to see some actual NFL linebackers out there.

I'm torn on this one.  I always like him and considered him a good player (the only knock on him during his time here was his ability to stay healthy ... he seems to have been able to manage that better in AZ.  And like others said, our LB group leaves a lot to be desired.  But I am also on board with a strategy that is focused more on the long term picture than immediate.  He'll be 30 before the season starts - I wouldn't consider him a part of the nucleus moving forward but more a band aid (and an expensive one at that).  I'd rather they build this team with younger players and not add aging vets that will chew much more into the cap (reasons I did not want to trade multiple high picks for a 30+ year old Rodgers or Wilson when we have so many other areas that need to be addressed other than just QB).

I’d take him if the contract makes sense. He can definitely play.

Agreed! If the contract is good then I think we should explore it. He's a good player but health is a concern.

Why not? He's an upgrade at the position and let's be honest that's about as good as it can get with Howie as GM. He's not going to invest a lot in the position.
