DK Metcalf (Seahawks WR) -- Potential Trade?

Seattle are sellers. Roseman has a chance to correct a horrible wrong. DK on his final year, so not sure about cap issues, but Howie can work the numbers. We have a potential to have such a potent 1-2 punch with Smith and Metcalf. I'd definitely give up a 1st and something day 2 for a guaranteed star like DK, instead of hoping/praying your draft WR doesn't turn into JJAW.

Id be on board with #19 for him....

Pick 51 and a conditional pick in 2023 (e.g. a 3rd that can become a 2nd if he has 1000 yards receiving).

I doubt he wants to come here after we passed on him for someone that will remain nameless. I’d take him in a heartbeat though

I’ve always wondered if it was just his neck?  He’s got drive to keep himself in shape, but maybe he’s not seen as being committed to football in the long term?
You can’t do what he did at the combine with a bad neck, it’s pretty much impossible, plus he was cleared almost 3 months before that event.  As for his route running, obviously no one built like that, with that kind of speed is going to be a precise route runner, if he’s selling a route and going full speed, his ACL’s would snap if he tried to stop immediately on a comeback, and likely even a dig.

I seem to recall issues with focus and drops were brought up during the pre draft process ... perhaps that factored in as well.

He wasn't all that productive either. Plenty of red flags around him.
