    They aren't going to get him so it's all a moot point. Watson likely doesn't want to come to Philly.

    He won't waive his no trade clause as some have said...think N.O. or Carolina are more likely than the Eagles.

    Because the cap is imaginary and teams manipulate it all the time...They were in "cap hell" when they signed Byrd to that insane contract few years back.

    They have many outlets to clear major cap space. They haven’t done it yet because they don’t have to

    Not in favor of this. Watson is a big upgrade of course and Hurts aint it....but the roster is simply not there.

    The chances of Lowie hitting on all 3 first round picks is highly unlikely.  Even if they hit on 2 of the 3, would any combo of 2  lb,s,de,cb create more of a transformation to a team that a top 5 league QB?....

    But you can look at it like this as well:  would you trade Wentz, Reagor and Andre Dillard for Watson?  In a heartbeat.

    So the last 10 Eagles #1 picks. 

    4 complete bust's with Wentz on his way to being considered #5 and Dillard potentially being #6

    and Smith who looks the part, but its just too soon to know.

    So thats a fail rate of what....  70%?   With the exception of Cox and Lane, id trade any combo of 3 of the remaining 8 players for him. Hell.... id trade any 3 of those other guys PLUS one of Cox or Lane for Watson......  26yr old QBs of his nature just dont become available. ever...

    From what I'm seeing on Twitter - couple of interesting nuggets.  Niners and Eagles out on DeSean Watson.  But Hurts apparently removed the Eagles from his Instagram bio.

    I'd trade all 8 of them then pay Watson the sum of all 8 if their contracts, and I like Smith.  Devonte...not...not Marcus. 

    Anything more than 15, a first in 2023, and Hurts is too much.

    Apparently his IG was changed, his Twitter never said Philadelphia Eagles QB.   I believe the other controversy was changing his location to Houston, but he’s from Houston and could be working out down there, who could blame him, the weather sucks here.  No one knows if he even changed it, (location). 
     This all means an NBA style 3 team deal is happening with the Browns getting Watson, the Eagles get Baker, and Jalen goes to the Texans as a b/u to Mills

    He'd be a hell of an 'offensive weapon' type player though. He might run, he might (attempt to) throw it, The QB might hand it off to another RB, he might pass it .... Geez, I'm becoming Random Reglar :chair:

    Howie please get on this. The Cowboys just traded Amari Cooper for like a 5th rounder, we should have given that up too.
