As a personnel  move it makes the most sense for adding an edge rusher. Ngakoue would be better but requires giving up at least a 1st and a big money deal. Clowney’s market is down right now and could be had on a slight discount with no long term commitment. 
 

I’ll be the first to admit though, I booed the crap out of him in the playoff game after the hit. There’s still some not so good personal feelings about him. Especially when you also take into consideration his cheap shots on Foles in ‘18. 
 

He would make the team better though.

I spoke on that in my first post. I can't see him signing here but if he did it would be a locker room test.  

I have no problem with this, and the idea that the locker room is going to have issues with it is overblown. So if this does happen it would mean the Eagles drafted a QB and signed the guy who hurt Wentz though. What message are the Eagles sending to Carson? 

I think fans hold more of a grudge than players do. I don't see this being an issue if he comes. Which I hope he does.

Let’s be real:  if Clowney drove Dak into the turf Eagles fans would love him.  It’s all part of the show.

Throw aside being a dirty cheap shot artist that he is. He is basically Brandon Graham minus the work ethic. Now I like Brandon Graham but he isn't special. And Brandon doesn't have the character issues. Why would anyone be excited to get Clowney?

Why would he choose Philly over Seattle, when Philly fans want his blood?

Well - with Hurts the message to me is pretty clear. They are not sure if Wentz can stay healthy and if over the next 2-3 years and if he can't they want an alternative option.

On Clowney. I can't see it happening, but if he agrees to a 1 year prove it deal, then I think that Wentz will appreciate the reasons and move on. We do need DE help.

It is not ok to hope for an injury to another player.  And it is especially hypocritical to be unhappy about an injury to our player and then to hope for the same injury to another player.

LOL it's not OK to be sensitive unless you are a female or misinterpret things that weren't said. I said let him take Wilson down instead of it happening to Wentz this year as in I'd rather him be with us.No where did I say I want anyone to get hurt.

You're right. Wentz was just more on my mind because of the Brain injury. But I said that earlier also. Why do we want a guy that took a shot at 2 of our QB THEN bad mouthed the fan base cause they were mad about it.

Anyone remember Andre Waters?  He was the ultimate headhunter back in the day and we loved him. Why?  Because he was an Eagle.
