    If the rumor is true, Clowney will be seeking an even better deal to force the Eagles to up their offer. I'd bet he goes back to Seattle.

    If that is the case hopefully when we play them this year I hope someone on our team let's Clowney know his cheap shot crap will not be tolerated this time. Make the message loud and clear.

    We do play Seattle this year. 

    I think clowney ends up signing somewhere no one expected like Carolina or Detroit

    Agreed. I don't understand some folks. With this secondary and the way Jim calls his defenses you would think everyone would be on onboard with getting as much pass rush talent as we can get.

    There is a line. Clowney trashed each and every single one of us after almost taking off 2 of our QB's heads on dirty dangerous way out of line hits. I mean he isn't exactly going to welcomed with open arms. How is that such a hard concept to follow? Plus, HE ISNT EVEN THAT GOOD! lol Barnett had better numbers than him.

    FWIW Howie has probably made a call to his agent offering a lowball deal. The Eagles have a really strong DT crew to go with Graham and Barnett, and it could allow Clowney to roam free more than on some other teams. But Clowney still fancies himself an elite player (he’s not) and will almost certainly go somewhere his contract won’t be an embarrassment.

    What pass rush talent? The dude is an overrated, lazy player. Both Barnett and Graham were better than him last season. 
     

    All that pass rush "talent” has resulted in just 32 career sacks over 75 games. Those are Mike Mamula numbers.

    im pretty sure he's s plus to our pass rush rotation considering who we have now on the outside

    I think the Titans could be an interesting spot for him. He played under Mike Vrabel when he was the LB coach for the Texans and could be their big free agent target after trading away Jurrell Casey to the Broncos for only a 7th round pick. I doubt they are satisfied with just bringing in Vic Beasley to address their pass rush.

    Trouble is that's a disciplined DL and I'm not sure Clowney fits that.

    Barely know who he is. And I don't care about baseball anyway.  It's boring. So whatever. And even when I did like baseball as a kid I was an O's fan. Because of Cal Ripken Jr. So he wasn't talking to me anyway.

    Bud I get that you feel really strongly about this and I can understand that. But at this point I think you hold more of a grudge than Wentz.

    Its possible. My best friend has a TBI from a mortar round and I treat patients with them.  It screws them up. So yeah people that take head shots like that because they are dirty are the kind of people that will kill this game. It's a hot button thing for me.
