Reddick hasn't matched his 2020 pass-rushing production this year for the Panthers, but he has earned positive grades against the run at one of the highest rates at the position. This is what concerns me. I hope Gannnon adjust the defense to this guy's strengths.

March 14, 20223 yr I don’t think this dude is here to play linebacker as his prime position. Eagles will still draft line and linebackers (says the dude who admitted he didn’t really know who this was a couple hours ago)
March 14, 20223 yr Great signing, absolutely rinsed mailata last season. Definitely an upgrade from Barnett
March 14, 20223 yr They still could go DE in Round 1 but it opens the possibility they go elsewhere with their firsts which I doubt they use all 3 this year.

Love this! Reddick should be a good fit in Gannon's hybrid 4-3 scheme. Immediately gives the pass rush a huge boost. BUT - don't stop here. Graham is old now. Strong DE draft. Johnson or Walker would still be great picks. Turn the pass rush from a major weakness into a major strength.

Yeah, "decent." 5th most sacks in the league the last two years to go along with 8 FF, and 30+ TFL's. 39 minutes ago, opa-opa said: So does this mean we don't draft a LB? He's not a traditional LB. He's a pass rush specialist. It keeps them from drafting a Bonnito, Lukens, Myjai Sanders this year, but I still fully expect a R1 DE and a traditional SAM LB at some point. 1 minute ago, ManchesterEagle said: Love this! March 14, 20223 yr Interested to see if they see him as DE or SAM or both. He is very light for a full time DE so not sure if he can hold up at point of attack but pass rush is what he does best. I suspect we will see him as a bit of hybrid. SAM when we are in base which isn’t a lot + passing downs DE. Thinking Gannon wants to use SAM more (ala Barr in Vikings) but Avery wasn’t good enough to be on field as much. 8 minutes ago, Outlaw said: Doubt he's there at 15. But Ojabo or Johnson are options. March 14, 20223 yr It's an interesting signing for sure. On the one hand they'd picked up a really good and productive player. Someone who gets to the QB and can have a real impact. But it doesn't feel a natural fit in this defense. I know Gannon is not Schwartz and that he uses a SAM to rush the QB but how much is Reddick going to be on the field? On the one hand the contract suggests a lot but he's not a DE... What it does show is their commitment and buy in to Gannon.
