Well while to 402% number was made up, I stand by the idea that decriminalization and regulation absolutely does have some benefits for existing sex workers' safety and well being as we can see from other countries.

March 18, 20223 yr Never seen a stripper outside of a strip club. I can see how that would be weird and unsettling, like seeing a raccoon crawling around in the day time. Also never seen a prostitute up close until my cousin's bachelor party trip to Vegas when one of his friends brought one back to our room at the end of the night. I was half in the bag, but coherent enough to move my luggage and clothes into the adjoining suite where the rest of us were staying, and slept on the couch. Didn't take long after talking to her for us to figure out what she was despite her denials and his claims that she was just a girl at the bar that was actually into him. Knowing his ugly stupid drunk ass could never land someone like her, it was obvious to everyone but him. Woke up the next morning to him swearing up a storm, turns out she robbed him. Dumb ass apparently banged her, then immediately passed out, so she took about $500 cash he had in his wallet and bounced. He comes into our room to tell us in the morning, completely naked, with the F'ing condom still on. He's a good guy otherwise, but you can only have so much sympathy for people like that.
