Nahhh, like I said over there, I find all that stuff nasty. The interesting part for me is what different people think laws should be used for.

I hope the people of Japan stay safe. 

Big arse earth quakes are pretty common in Japan. They got it figured out though they always manage fairly well it seems.  
 

here in Cali we are built to handle those quakes as well.  We go way overkill we on our structural  requirements for new construction.
