How did the republic survive all these years without such an option.  I'm sure the left wing pink patrol on these boards is fine with this option though.

This is so idiotic. Make it say "Biological Gender" if we really have to worry about offending the Gen Z and Millennial idiots, but identification documents need to, you know...have factual information.

Please tell us all in glowing detail about how this ruining your life?

I suppose it is good that the asexual and hermaphrodites get their own box to check.

Just a few randos.  NBD

This actually sucks.  Now procus and kz can get a passport and go spew their venom internationally.

It's part of a process that is ruining all of our lives.  But hey, as a tranny white knight, I'm sure you disagree.

Question for international travelers: Ever had your sex checked, or confirmed by immigration when you arrived overseas?

Please, enlighten us on how your life was ruined this week by people not wanting to check M or F?

As a decent human being, it is easy to disagree with traitorous curs like you. When are you ever right?

I've never had my equipment checked, but in many parts of the world, the passport line can be different for men and women (think Muslim countries), as well as the dress standards. WTF is Dubai doing with passports marked "X"?

Sounds like a Dubai issue.

No, it's reality that most of the world isn't going to simply adopt American values. And the point of a Passport is to be able to...travel internationally.

And if you insisting on checking some box that prevents you from going to Dubai, blame yourself.

Consequences are good.

The problem is institutionalization of all of this.  Before gay marriage became the law of the land, there were no enforceable laws prohibiting homosexuality or transgenderism.   This is not an area where the government should be involved.  There is no reason why civil unions between two consenting adults cannot be enacted - regardless of whether they have a romantic relationship.

Why is it that the government sees it necessary to legalize same sex unions, and recognize biological genders different than those from birth - but continues to ban polygamy?

What a kook you are - calling somebody a traitorous cur because they oppose government institutional recognition of transgenderism.

Seems ok but I think there is more to it.  Other countries need to be able to trust the US that the passport is accurate.  Are we going to allow the Penn swimmer to check "female"?

Such a waste of time, resources, money and more foo foo you hurt my feelings crap. I have no faith in our government or politicians. Everyone throw poop 🙌

Probably needs to check "X" - but it's only a tweet, so who knows what the regulation or order actually says.

No, you are a traitorous cur for supporting Trump and Russia.

Oh, it all makes sense now.... You're polygamist!

The issue is difference between what is legal (civil) marriage vs. spiritual (religious) marriage. Polygamy is not outright illegal. You can cohabitate with multiple partners, nobody from the law is going to bother you. However, the laws of this country do not support having more than one legal spouse.

Because right and left found a wedge issue they can use to mobilize their people.

You love the Florida bill, right?

Silly, but whatever. Honestly, from a logical standpoint, wouldn't it be easier to accurately confirm the identify of a trans person with a document indicating that they're trans? Trans people often look....well...trans.

Ok **** - go through the Florida bill, and tell me what's objectionable about it.  Not what the media says is objectionable, but actual language in the bill that is objectionable.  All ears on this one.
