I admit I don't understand half of these issues and I also don't spend much time trying to.

 

This.  I do not fully understand it, and it is not a big deal.  People are free to live their lives however they choose, and it does not have any impact on me.

Extra check boxes on forms, documents, applications will have zero impact on my life.  I mean, there is all kinds of boxes for race on forms, I check the box that applies to me and do not even read the rest.
