I'll do much better next time. I wasted a pile of guesses, the words were so small and I left my glasses downstairs lol.

 

Also, I didn't realize how far down it scrolled at first. Half the strategy seems to be the order you try to solve the each word as you eliminate letters in each "mini puzzle".

Yeah, you basically have 2 or 3 guesses to try to rule out as many letters as possible, then you need to start guessing final solutions in a reasonable order, to continue to rule out additional letters on the way.

I did AUDIO, STERN, CHALK as my first 3, and then gave myself a cushion of 2 bad guesses along the way. Came up one short. I'm sure there are a better set of starting words, maybe even going with a fourth and dropping to a cushion of 1 bad guess.

My first two words were stare and found. Then I started trying to solve them, but didn't realize how many there were and how far down it scrolled(basically didn't pay attention lol)  After about half my guesses were gone I slapped myself and realized I should have been trying to solve the ones that had more information available, scanning up and down all the puzzles as you get each one. Then you gain more info for the unsaved ones. I started knocking them out but wasted so many tries that it was impossible to finish them all.

Like I said, first try and tomorrow's will probably go smoother. Also, no glasses didn't help.

They have practice ones you can do to get the hang of it and refine strategy.

Oddly enough, I'm finding this to be much easier than regular wordle. The increase in puzzle count means you can save the stupid ones (with more than 5 possible solutions) for the end when you're much more likely to have ruled out the other possible candidates.

It's much easier to get the vast majority right of them right sure. But I think the 37 guess count is smart. You really only have 2-3 guesses to start things off then you have to nail the rest of the board with 2-3 guesses as collateral. Not a ton of wiggle room. 

For example Crave and Grown on this last one could have easily been Craze and Frown and v, z, g, and f are unlikely to have been in your first 2 guesses.

The huge advantage in these situations, is that you can rule out the other candidates along the way by saving these ambiguous puzzles for the very end. I think there was another puzzle that had a V so I already knew it had to be crave before I got to it.

I did the same my first game lol. Second game I did better but wasted a couple guesses by rushing. Third I solved them all, this morning. 

 

I don't do this one daily, I use it when I'm waiting on something to kill time.

trick is to burn 15 separate letters on first 3 turns. super easy from there. As stated earlier, have no real wiggle room from there, so guess obvious ones first.
