That's a pretty massive assumption.  The cops interact with people, black/white/whatever, on a constant basis, all day every day, and the vast majority of people come out of it just fine.

And I don't know if this was a joke or true (anything's possible with a lunatic attention whoor like MTG) but this is the exact reason why making a big thing of stupid crap like this is damaging to the left.  This isn't a big deal.  Amplifying it doesn't make anyone a hero or save any black people's lives.  It just ruins the life of the person and the right will amplify it and make the left seem like vindictive a-holes who punish people on their worst days for things that aren't in any way illegal.  It's a bad look and it stems from the far left's insistence on constant activism even when it's not necessary.
