So much packed into a single island, Broadway, Central Park, times square, liberty/Ellis islands, Wall st, Rockefeller plaza, awesome restaurants, awesome museums, awesome architecture and history, unique in so many ways. I can't wait to go back when my kids are a bit older. I’m sure the novelty is cool every few years as a tourist, but it truly is a disgusting city. Just filthy.

Yeah like most major cities, I wouldn't want to live there for an extended period of time, and certainly would never want to raise a family there. That's obviously what suburbs are for.

That's obviously what suburbs are for. I go about twice a year for the weekend, once with kids and once without. Now that I'm in South jersey, I just get car service to the hotel I'm staying at so I don't have to drive or park. Usually do a Friday night and Saturday night show (did Hamilton and Sweeney Todd last month) shop one afternoon and do the museum or one of the art galleries the other. We always have fun there, and no I wouldn't want to live in any city.

I feel that way about pretty much every city I've ever been to. Venice is probably the coolest city I've ever seen, but I'd never want to live there for more than a year either. But maybe I could be convinced if they included some F'in fries with my burger value meal!

March 23, 20241 yr All big cities have rats. That’s not unique to NYC. I’ve seen them scurrying through Rittenhouse Square after a fancy dinner. Fun times

But it is overrun with tourists.
