We have a fire going and a homemade pasta pomodoro cooking (well the pasta isn't homemade but it is fresh). 21yr old daughter back from college for the weekend as well. Couple nice bottles of wine. Going to watch a movie together. Should be a nice night. Throwing a bit of fresh salsiccia in as well on request. Had to dig a bit in the cellar but I found a nice dry lambrusco to pair. Have a Bordeaux and some nice gruyere for after the main course.

I went to the Marques De Riscal winery Sept '19. A massive production facility. We got there on the first day of harvest for the year so there was quite a buzz. They have a super cool old natural cellar where they keep bottles of every vintage for all their wines going back over 100 years. They re-cork them every 15 years or so. That dinner looks Fing great!
