Welcome Welcome, we all know why we are here so going to skip the pomp and circumstance

This is not the picks thread. The picks go live next week.

This thread for discussion and results

Rules

You’re trying to get the most points. You receive a point when you get a pick correctly.

You must get at least one pick correctly to move to the next day. Traditionally number of choices you get per round is determined based on the number of picks.

First Round you will have 8 Picks to choose one (or both) of the Eagles picks. You only need one correct to continue but you’ll get that extra point if you get both right.

There is no trade up trade down option this year but there still is a Lock that will earn you a bonus point.

So assuming the Eagles make two first picks you could earn up to three points in the first round (if one of the picks is your lock)

please list your pick like so

Paco Pacoman  Linebacker Colorado (Lock)

Wholesale Phil  Punter  San Antonio

When The pick Thread goes live you may add your picks and change them at any time. I will lock the thread within half an hour of the draft beginning.

Dammit - Paco Pacoman and Wholesale Phil were going to be my main picks. Now everyone will jump on the Pacoman bandwagon.

Paco Pacoman and Wholesale Phil

Round 1

Jordan Davis - DT - Georgia (LOCK)
George Karlaftis - DE - Purdue
Arnold Ebiketie - DE - Penn State
Jermaine Johnson - DE - Florida State
Jameson Williams - WR - Alabama
Chris Olave - WR - Ohio State
Andrew Booth - CB - Clemson
Trent McDuffie - CB - Washington

No surprise to me that we have the same lock, and we have 5 of the 8 names matching up.

Incidentally, I had Johnson on my list but changed it due to answering the question based on who I think the Eagles will get and put Mafe as the target for a trade down from 18, as I expect you are doing with Ebiketie.

I'll wait until the last minute because I don't want you guys to steal my Jordan Davis pick

Round 1:

Jordan Davis - DT - Georgia (Lock)

Devonte Wyatt - DT - Georgia

Kayvon Thibodeaux - DE - Oregon

Jameson Williams - WR - Alabama

Chris Olave - WR - Ohio State

Ahmad "Sauce" Gardner - CB - Cinncinnatti

Derek Stingley, Jr - CB - LSU

Trent McDuffie - CB - Washington

Sharing that brain again, bud!

Yes, I was thinking Ebiketie might be the guy if they trade back to the 28-32 range from 18. They've had him in for a Private Visit, and he looks like a viable long-term replacement for Brandon Graham.

Also thinking that the Eagles love to draft the Senior Bowl stud, and that was Johnson.

@flyerdog

You've only put 6 picks in the selections thread, you can have 8.

I agree, but have Ebiketie as a 2nd round target...

I have him late R1/early R2, same ballpark as Mafe really.

Agreed.  And if I go by visits, the Eagles might have him ahead of Mafe.  I, personally, have Mafe ahead of Ebiketie... so it was a bit of wishcasting to list Mafe as a Round 1 target.

Paco Pacoman is not gonna fly with me

I have Boye Mafe solidly in round 2.

I have Mafe there in case of a trade down, where he'd be going late 20s, 30, 31, 32.   Eagles take 2nd rounders late in the first round regularly.

One way or another, in this draft we will collectively decipher what "commitment to Gannon" truly means..................

What are the odds that someone is picked that no one in the pick thread has?

With 2 picks available?   That seems like a long shot.   But... Hutchinson might get caught with a gas mask video...
