Are we going back to drafting firemen?

Interesting move again. Seemed like they like Stoll and Jackson, on top of that JJAW was moved to TE.

I never got bored watching someone's highlights before until now

Oh no, another fireman…

Can he play DB?

Couldn't just bring this otherwise A++ draft home with a CB...JFC

Well...lets pray honey badger gets brought in on a 1-2 year deal and our newly revamped front 7 stays healthy and performs to their max cap....

Can anyone in Rd 5-7? Howie isn't done yet. There is still the undrafted, free agents and Waiver players to address the secondary. Did you expect Howie to fill every hole on the team in this draft, when he said before the draft he can't fill all the holes in this draft and stated that no other team does as well.

Can’t get too upset over a late round pick, but I agree I would have preferred a DB or a big back here.

I guess I am one of the few who thinks this pick is okay. Sounds like he has a lot of upside as a receiver and may even compete for TE2. The medical history is obviously a major concern but that's what you get in the 6th round. It's not like a corner or safety we took instead of him was guaranteed to be a starter.

Was hoping Howie moved Dillard or Reagor for a latter pick. Maybe then just try something out. I mean they found a starter for years in Mills with a late round pick.

I like his game highlights.

i can get behind both of these 6th rounders though i did like some other players they had shots at.. interesting no de’s or oline

2 firsts next year can land us a premium DE and CB if hurts pans out. Otherwise, FA should provide some opportunities for OL and DE if needed

I don’t know what I find most troubling here. The concussion issues, the fireman job, or the Dallas shirt.

I figured he would address DB at some point in the draft. I know they’re not done yet, but you can’t count on an UFA to be a starter on D. They need a starting CB and and S. These are positions they only address through free agency. When are we going to spend some draft capital on a young DB? This is a passing league.

Great pick. Every mock I did I had him as a late round flier. While you can't expect much from 6th or 7th rounders, this guy is loaded with potential.

We’ve spent plenty of mid to late rounders on DBs. If you just choose one for the sake of it, you’ll be in the same position next year. That’s why at this point in the draft in particular, it makes no sense to whine that we didn’t draft a particular position.

Exactly, my point. Stop spending 5th and 6th rounders on DB’s and spend a 1st or 2nd. It’s an important position in today’s game.

I guess JJAW is a roll of the dice and a last effort at getting something out of him. Stoll is more of a blocker and Jackson sustained a serious injury at a point where we didn't know what we had in him.

Would have taken a flyer on a CB or RB there but not gonna get upset about it.

I can’t complain about him simply because I don’t know a thing about him.  I do know TE depth was a need though so …

Put up 250 yards vs Georgia's elite defense. Very special player.

Keep in mind that we used our original 6th rounder in this draft last year on Kary Vincent Jr. With Nelson gone and camp approaching, all the 2nd year CBs should get plenty of opportunities.
